I HAVE FOR SALE AN INCREDIBLE, WELL KEPT, ORIGINAL MILEAGE, CLASIC BIG BODY MONTY CARLO. THE CAR HAS ITS ORIGINAL 5.0 LTR V8 AND TRANSMISSION. I RECENTLY HAD ALL THE GASKETS AND SEALS REPLACED. THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE ANY LEAKS OR DRIPS. THE VALVE COVERS WERE DRIED OUT AND THE MAIN SEAL WAS SEAPING FROM A LACK OF USE, SO I HAD THEM REPLACED. THE CAR CRANKS, SHIFTS AND DRIVES AS IT SHOULD. THE A/C, HEAT, AND STEREO ALL WORK PERFECTLY. THE TIRES ARE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AND I HAD THEM ROTATED RECENTLY. THE CAR HOLDS A STRAIGHT LINE ON THE HIGHWAY AND I ALSO REPLACED THE MISSING CENTER CAP ON THE RALLYE WHEEL THATS MISSING IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS. APPARENTLY SOMEONE WANTED THE OTHER ONE I HAD WORSE THAN ME ! THE BODY LINES ARE GREAT, THE BIG SWOOPING FRONT FENDERS LOOK INCREDIBLE. THE GAPS ON THE BODY LINE UP EXTREMELY WELL AND IT HAS ITS ORIGINAL PAINT WITH NO SIGNS OF HAVING ANY BODY WORK EVER. THE CAR HAS ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF SURFACE RUST UNDERNEATH WITH EXCELLENT FLOOR, AND TRUNK PANS. NO BODY WORK NEEDED ON THIS ONE ! THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS A COUPLE OF SMALL DINGS BY THE DOOR LOCK YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS. I BELIEVE YOU COULD HAVE IT FIXED WITH PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL AND LOOKS VERY, VERY GOOD. THE ONLY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE INSIDE WOULD BE THE DASH PAD, IT IS CRACKED. AND PERHAPS THE CARPET, ITS NOT TORN BUT IT DOES SHOW LITTLE WEAR ON IT. OTHER THAN THAT THE SEATS, HEADLINER AND ALL TRIM LOOK GREAT. THE GAUGES ALL WORK. IT IS A LANDAU COUPE, WHICH CAME WITH THE TOP AS WELL AS THE BACK GLASS THAT CAME TO A POINT IN THE REAR. ITS A GREAT CAR THAT GETS A LOT OF LOOKS AND IM SELLING IT CHEAP. I LOVE OLD CARS AND I HAVE MORE THAN I NEED LAYING AROUND THE HOUSE. GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
