1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport. Born with a 305 and at about 85k miles was sent to a Chevrolet Dealer and had a new Chevrolet crate 350 installed. Block casting#10054727 and it has run like new ever since. Never wrecked or damaged. While motor was done had it changed over to new Air conditioning to meet EPA standards. Automatic with limited slip 10 bolt rear with 3:31 gear ratio. Car has had only one owner up to 1.5 years ago and has been well maintained and garage kept. Has had one re-paint and done professionally with the same color about 10 years ago and still looks near perfect. 1 small spot on roof has a clear coat bubble, an easy repair. Tires are about 50% and brakes are about a year young. totally serviced and ready to drive. Brand new dual exhaust from converter back. Super clean interior with 1 small spot on drivers side carpet heel rub about 2-3" square. 1 small crack in center of dash above radio. I mention these light imperfections because that's all that's wrong with the car. Very clean wheels, never abused. Original AM-FM has been replaced by a nice JVC in dash AM-FM CD unit. Original radio in box in trunk. Trunk is clean with as equipped spare, jack, wrench and nice factory carpet. Factory gauge package. All gauges work properly including gas gauge. This is a very nice Super Sport drives excellent and look's nice and really needs nothing except what was mentioned for it to be near perfect. Nice show car or to drive daily. These are hard to find that have not been trashed or built to be a race car. Own one of the nicest cars of the late 80's. Surely a collectible. Drive it home. Priced to sell, was keeping it for ourselves but have recently found our Dream car. Good Luck Bidding and Please if you cannot come up with the funds to purchase please do not bid we dont have the time for games. Any questions you can call Steve @ 302-362-0077 between the hours of 9am-10pm. Thank you. God Bless our Troops !

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
