Copper Exterior W/ Black Interior, Original 123,000 Miles 2 Door Vinyl Top on 2040-cars
Deadwood, South Dakota, United States
Nice Driver quality vehicle. Original throughout with a repaint, rebuilt engine, and moderate interior restore. 123k actual miles and clean original body. New tires, rims and vinyl top, (also I have the Original Hub caps). Replaced the shocks, seats and carpet to original vinyl. Frame is clean and painted with 12 bolt rear end. 1500 miles on the engine. 350/350 combo runs drives and shifts as it should. Runs smooth down the highway with no shakes or issues. Brakes are good w/ front disc and rear drum. Heat and all electrical works properly and is original. The body of the car is straight and looks sharp. I have gone through the vehicle and only minor cosmetics need attention. Feel free to ask me anything. I have the Build sheet also. Nice Affordable 70's Muscle Cruiser in original condition and never abused.

Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works
Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
