1964 chevy wagon as you can see its now a 2 door wagon ......from 1962-1967 chevy never made a 2 door nova wagon......... so this is differant but done before .........the engine is a 350 small block.....stock with 1500 miles on over haul..........[had in my 34 truck ]........the intake and carb are edelbrock performer and 600cfm......... hei dist...........new fuel pump....Mr Gasket old school air cleaner...chrome value covers...new champion alum radiator with new elet.fan.....the trans is a turbo 350 with a lokar dipstick....hooker headers...bz-rod's complete frame up straight axle kit...chrome shocks ...steel braided brake lines ...... power coated [0 miles]...firestone front tires and e/t 10 spoke mags.....new wilwood master cyl and clutch slave [car has auto but can be a standard also].....rear end is a 10 bolt with 4;10 gears with a locker [posi].....air shocks comes with a traction bar set-up new [need to be installed].....alum rear wheels...8;20 -15 NEW cheater slicks[ 0 miles]......e-clip elimitors.....mini-tubbed....12 gal new fuel cell and batt.mounted in rear ...killswitch in stock fill hole [gas filler]....the dash has a stock  tach in it and a tilt steering wheel .....this is NOT a show car BUT it does show WELLshe ALWAYS draws a croud even at the gas station....cruise cool or swap you fire breathing dragon engine and tear up the blacktop......ps. you can build a 396 c.i.d. small block .....i had a bbc and two s.b.c. in he past ......happy bidding P.S. it was asked what this car needs MY answer was NOTHING UNLESS you want a headliner...carpet ...stearo..[heck i can't even spell it] .Door panels .......well maybe a CHROME ROLL BAR...make it as COOL as YOU ARE ...........thanks

GM won't pay owners of recalled cars for lost value

Kenneth Feinberg, the man in charge of the General Motors compensation fund dealing with the its widespread ignition switch woes, has issued an informal, two-letter response to the plaintiffs in more than 70 lawsuits seeking redress for lost resale value of their Cobalts: "No." The cases were recently combined into one, but Feinberg told The Detroit News that the fund will deal "only with death and physical injury claims," and that "perceived diminished value" will get no consideration.
ALG, the firm specializing in establishing residual values, determined that Cobalt owners had lost $300 compared to the segment competition and doesn't envision any long-term effects from the recall situation. Feinberg's statement comes in advance of public details on how the compensation fund will work and adheres to GM's long-held position on the matter. The company has already asked a judge to throw out such suits using the pre-bankruptcy defense, even as it stopped using that defense in cases of injury and death.
With plenty of potential gain from the GM suit, however, don't expect the plaintiffs to give up yet. When Toyota was sued for the same reason during the unintended acceleration debacle, it eventually settled the case for between $1 billion and $1.4 billion just to get it over with. Since the 85 law firms involved in the Toyota litigation took home more than $250 million of that total, we shouldn't expect the attorneys to give up on a GM payout, either.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala

The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
