I don't know. I believe the interior is all original. Not for sure the type of interior. Looks like Houndstooth, but it's not. One of the back windows doesn't work so well. It's a RUNNING and DRIVABLE Nova. HOWEVER, it does need work. It will die on you sometimes. Very little rust on the car. A few dings here and there. Brand new exhaust. Just had the valves cleaned. The worst part about the Nova is it will EVENTUALLY need the firewall replaced. The firewall is in bad shape. You can see through the bottom of the floor under the drive shaft. My Mechanic said it will need partial front pans. However, do not let this steer you away. Everything else is SOLID. The car is power steering, but it has manual brakes. The black vinyl top was replaced at one time with another one. It's an automatic. However, there is bubbling underneath it now. I've seen worse Novas than this go for more."

I purchased this vehicle from a guy in Shelbyville, Indiana. The car used to be an Indianapolis Rental Car. I have the original paperwork(from the Indy Rental Car) and temp tags from 1973. Clear title. It needs the firewall replaced sometime, but it's not vital at the moment. There is also a rip in the interior. A big rip. I am not the original owner. The car has some dings, but overall, VERY SOLID. The buyer of this car is responsible for picking it up. I will not ship it. No international buyers.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]

Mon, 18 Aug 2014

For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.
