1972 Super Sport Nova

1X27K2W385974

Very Fast and Very Fun to Drive!

This 1972 Super Sport Nova is a great car for the weekend muscle car enthusiast. The car has factory power steering and power front disc brakes. The engine is a 400 small block that's pushing more than 375hp, the trans is a built turbo 400, and the rear end is the original 10 bolt with a new Eaton posi unit with a 3:73 gear. The mufflers are Flow Master 40 series, sounds bad ass! Note the old school traction bars. The car was originally a 4 speed car, the manual pedals are still in place and it has the correct steering column too.

The car has been in the south its whole life, started off in Virginia and made its way to Florida . The body is in fair condition for its age, the floors and trunk and in great shape, the paint is driver quality. The interior is in fair condition as well. The front door panels and headliner are showing some age. The dash pad could be replaced. The bumpers, trim, chrome, and marker lights all appear to be original. The wheels are 15in, front and back.  The car runs great, no over heating or oil issues.

The car is priced to sell, don't miss out on owning a real Nova Super Sport.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
