This is a very rare, mostly unmolested, rust free, Arizona car. Built in Van Nuys and sold originally by a Valley Dealer to a Northern Arizona couple who owned it until just recently. If you know Novas, you know how impossible it is to find this trim and body with a factory 350 much less a factory 4 speed. This car is about as rare as it gets. There are a few minor things wrong. . .haven't even fully checked the fuses etc., and except for the repaint (was silver when new) and former vinyl top, this car is in original and excellent shape cosmetically. It runs great and got excellent mileage on the 300 mile drive home. Judging by the wear on pedals and so on, I would say the odometer is probably correct. I am happy to answer any questions. Haven't even cleaned the car up yet. You see it as I found it. I am firm on the price. Please don't even ask. I have been carefully watching this gen Nova since 1977 when I purchased an even more rare one of four door. I have never seen, heard of, or found one of these on the internet even. Thanks for looking.

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.
