1946 chevy truck has 350 with turbo 400 tranny[came from 77 truck both had around 20,000 miles on rebuild when i bought them] possie rear end with factory disk brakes[79 trans am] disk brakes on front. has new alluinum radiater all brake ,fuel and tranny lines, new wire 12 circut wire harness , back window is broken but in side windows are good windsheild is new and cranks out holley 650 from national carbs new old stock tires vintage bias firestones dual white line[ 0 miles on them].cab and doors wre almost perfect front fenders have been patched and have some filler running boards have also been patched, box is has been fabricated all steel with wood floor. truck has no front shocks,wipers, seat belts or heater. have only driven around a few city streets all seems good but may need adjustments before taking any distance. has the old barn rat rod look with a gasser stance paint and body work not show finish did not want shiney rod buyer must pick up can load if using a tranporter but buyer needs to make all arangments. will consider offers no trades need to sell. have listed locally and may end auction early ,may come to see if interested no insurnce or plates so no joyrides has clean wi title 1000.00 deposit rest at pickup or to be aranged between buyer and seller,needs to be picked up and payed for in within 14 days unless other terms are agreed on starting bid is my reserve

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
