HELLO CHEVROLET TRUCK FANS AND THANKS FOR LOOKING AT MY TRUCK. THIS TRUCK IS NEW OR REDONE FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER. THE BLACK PAINT IS NEW AND SLICK BASE COAT CLEAR COAT OVER A VERY STRAIGHT BODY. THAT ALONG WITH ALL THE NEW CHROME GRILLE, BUMPERS, DOOR HANDLES, HUBCAPS AND MIRROR REALLY SET THE BLACK PAINT OFF. NEW PAINT ON THE INSIDE AS WELL, NEW SEAT COVER, HEADLINER, ALL THE KNOBS, CRANKS, HANDLES, CARPET, SHIFTER BOOT, GAS TANK, SENDING UNIT, GUAGE CLUSTER, ETC. ETC. UNDER THE HOOD IS MY FAVORITE PART, A PLAIN OL' TRUSTY 235 SIX CYLINDER. JUST LIKE IT WAS IN 1955. IT HAS BEEN TUNED UP WITH NEW PLUGS, WIRES, CAP, BUTTON, CARB REBUILT, RADIATOR CLEANED AND TESTED AND IT CRANKS ON THE FIRST TRY AND RUNS GREAT. THE BREAK SYSTEM WAS ALSO REDONE, NEW MASTER CYLINDER, SHOES, HOSES, ETC,. STOPS STRAIGHT WITH NO PROBLEMS. TRANSMISSION IS A GRANNY 4 SPEED AND IT ALSO WORKS PERFECTLY. Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
