Auction is for a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 step side truck on a 1994 S-10 chassis that is full Air ride and 4 linked in the rear with a Ford 9" rearend. This truck is almost complete just needing some finishing and just have to many projects to complete this one. This truck comes with a brand new 3rd member as pictured for the 9" has all brand new airbags and compressor system with tanks approx 5 gal. all air ride is wired and plumbed works perfect. Truck has brand new wiring that is nearly complete just needs lights and starter small stuff finished. We sentauge cluster out and it was rebuilt and zeroed now to work with the new truck(wasn't cheap!). Truck also has a new rebuilt powerglide that had extensive work in the rebuild built tough around $2000 on that. The engine is a 350 H.o crate motor that has around 25k on it paperwork is included and pictured. As you can see the truck has good sheetmetal and where it was bad it was repaired with new panels, all the glass is nice as pictured one wing window has a crack. This truck comes with about enough to complete it has brand new fuel tank behind the seat and all boxes of parts brackets alternator chrome and power steering parts. Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
