For sale is a 1956 chevy cameo pickup. This truck is a 235 6 cylinder truck with the 3 speed w/Overdrive transmission. I took this truck from Montana to my brothers in Washington to have bodywork completed and repainted. He has developed some health problems which have stopped him from completing truck. Rather than drive out and bring the truck back to Montana I have decided to sell. This will make a nice truck with a little work.

condition
The truck in the pictures below is before my brother started work on it. It is presently partially disassembled for painting. The front and rear glass (in good condition) was removed and all window channels cleaned and primered. The whole cab has been stripped, new seam sealer installed and then primered/sealed. The bad cab corners have been cut out but replacement panel not yet installed. The rest of the cab is in good shape. The front fenders have been removed to finish and then just quickly hung, hood is off, The front bumper and grille (driver quality chrome) are off, rear cameo bumper (all chrome and in good condition) is off, fiberglass bed has been sanded down and had a new gel coat installed/primered/sealed. Wood is still there but needs replacement. At present it has a piece os shett steel over the wood. Have all correct cameo trim pieces. Engine runs fine but smokes, included is a great running 235 as a replacement. Transmission is 3 speed with overdrive. It still has the original overdrive handle specific to cameos. Overall in good condition and alot of the work done.

I do not have any pictures in it present condition.... I have tried to describe the truck as best as I can. For further details, or to arrange to inspect truck please call my brother at 360-398-1382. He does not have a message machine but can be reached best in the afternoon and evening. You can ask any questions you have also through ebay and I will try and answer them as best as possible.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
