1960 Chevy Apache short bed
Apx, 68,700 original miles I bought this truck from the 1st owner. Very cool old truck and very original. This is a running, driving, stopping and smoking the tires truck. 283V8, 4 speed (granny low), posi 411 gears truck from the factory 283V8 just swapped for a bad to the bone 350V8 New motor has a gear drive, Edelbrock performer intake, headers, new water pump, new dual pumper carb, new clutch….. This combo will light up the tires in 1st,2nd and 3rd. :) Lowered 5-6" Brand new rims and tires. 205/75/15 front 235/75/15 rear Wheels are 6 lug smoothy with chrome caps New dual chamber mufflers and chrome tips . Sounds mean Running a fuel cell but have a new tank on order (new take comes with truck if it makes it before sold) Interior is in great shape with a couple dime-silver dollar spots Both front fenders have minor rust (half-silver dollar) No bed wood but does have all the metal and runners Rear passenger side has body damage (look at pics) I like it but you can fix with a $80 patch panel. You know the deal. As-is but you can drive the truck anywhere. Bought it in Washington put located in Roseville California (Sacramento) Still in 1st owners name with signed pink so you are owner #2. Check out Porterbuilt for some bad a$$ trucks. Thanks Happy bidding |

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.

Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.
