This beautiful truck is a 1991 Chevy Sport that I purchased new off the lot. Don't be scared by the mileage because I did a complete restoration on it at 270,00 so there are barely over 6000 miles on it.
New Items when restored:
Crate 350 motor, Transmission, Rings, Rack and Pinion, Bearings, Rear End, All new A/C, Carpet, Door Panels, Headliner, Windshield, Headlights, Grille, Fog lights, Headers and Stainless Steel Exhaust.. I also put on a new bed that has been rhino lined to match the red color as well as a new cowl induction hood. Well over $15,000 when I restored this baby. I just have no more room for it as other projects have come along.
There is no smog equipment or rev limiter on this vehicle and that is how it came out of the factory. Very unique and well taken care of pickup.
There are two dings on the front fender and one on the drivers side door but these will be taken care of by the end of the auction.
Also, I am willing to deliver up to 500 miles at the buy not price.
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY AS THIS IS ALSO ADVERTISED LOCALLY.
PLEASE DON'T ASK RESERVE PRICE AS I WILL NOT DISCLOSE.
FUN TRUCK TO DRIVE. ENJOY!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
