I have a 1991 chevy s-10 up for sale .I have replaced all the suspension in the front end except the coil springs,i reused them because there was nothing wrong with them.it has a new clutch and new u joints also has new front brake s and hoses. it has been lowered with 2 in lowering spindles and has polyurethane bushings .it has a new windshield and new headliner and sunvisors.I have an extra door for passenger side as it needs to be replaced I was in the process of fixing all the sheetmetal. there was no rust on anything the bodywork was to take out dents and dings. I put in a used sliding window and it has new waterpump,all new hoses and belts new heater core ,rebuilt throttle body, new radiatorand new smog pump as I had to replace and could not run a belt without it.new shocks all the way around it has a good exhaust system with no leaks.it currently does not have a radio but I have several if someone wants it. the cruise control works great and the only issue with ac is it comes ot defrost and floor but still gets cold.it gets around 25 or 26 on hwy gas mileage and will get 400 miles on a tank .I have receipts for all stuff I have put on it and have receipts from previous owner all the way back to when it was a couple years old I am the 3rd owner , I have had since 2010 2nd 0wner had from 95 til 2010 . originally from Virginia, then north Carolina .I was going to build it to do road racing but to costly. i have a lot of parts that go with it things i have took off that i didn't want but kept for this instance in case someone does.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
GM profits threatened by glut of pickups
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Automotive News reports that General Motors may slash production or ramp up discounts in order to deal with an oversupply of pickup trucks. GM currently has more than double the standard supply of pickups, and the vehicles are threatening to dampen the automaker's profits for 2013. Typically, automakers try to sustain a 60- to 75-day supply of vehicles, but GM is currently loaded with a 139-day supply, as of last month. At the end of November, the automaker was sitting on 245,853 units.
The manufacturer says that it will adjust production accordingly before laying any incentives on the profitable pickups. Even so, there's some concern that the inventory swell could hurt the roll-out of the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. GM actually began slowly stepping back production in August, but it's clear the company will take further action as it heads toward the end of the year and into the next. Analysts predict the automaker could reduce pickup manufacturing by nearly half in the first quarter of 2013.
That still may not be enough to keep GM from laying extra cash on the Silverado and GMC Sierra. While the company's incentive spending was down in November compared to the same month in 2011, both the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150 saw double-digit percentage increases in sales last month while the Silverado and Sierra numbers slid compared to a year prior. Incentive spending could help move more trucks and add some balance to the GM inventory surge.

Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
