1994 Chevrolet S-10 Ss Custom on 2040-cars

If you want to drive something fast, put your foot in this!

This is a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 SS.
There are very few of these trucks left in the world but there is only one truck built like this!

The Engine is a 350 cui, 375 HP V8 Beast.

The Exterior Paint Job is custom, as seen in the pictures. It has a Black base with an Orange Pearl shine that looks brilliant in the sunlight! There are also two Orange racing stripes going down the hood. All of the accents are the same Orange as the racing stripes; including the grille, the rims, the lateral bars, the Chevy Bowtie, SS Logo, and the Chevrolet Logo. (All orange seen in photos is the same shade)

The Wheels are 15" with a 6" width in the front and an 8" width in the rear. They are custom painted Orange as stated above.

There is a Clear Bra in the front that extends halfway to the windshield and covers both doors and the entire front including grill and bumper. There are also Hood Pins that add a little style as well as adding a safety lock feature to the hood.

The Doors on this beauty are custom, the door handles have been shaved off. You may find yourself asking, "Well how do I get into this sleek vehicle?". And that is a fair question! There are secret buttons hidden on this truck to allow access! There is also a remote that allows access in all situations.

Lateral Bars are installed to allow great traction at high speeds.

This truck has a brand new windshield. It is originally an automatic and was custom built with the 5-Speed Tremax Transmission. It takes Regular/Unleaded Gas.

The Stereo in this system has a hook up for Sirius/XM radio but I never used it. It is an Alpine CD Player system with stock speakers, but it carries a good tune!

The Interior of this truck is a gray fabric and is very comfortable. The truck bed is regular length and has a rugged liner that can't be beat!

I have put in over $17,000 in Custom Work.

Includes a Stock Gear Shift (Pistol Grip Gear Shift seen in picture is not included)
49er's Plaque on back will be removed as well.

The Buyer is responsible for shipping and all other expenses.

C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
