1999 Chevy S10 Xtreme Ls on 2040-cars
Ballston Spa, New York, United States
Up for auction is a 1999 Chevy S10 Xtreme LS, This Truck is one of a kind. I am the original owner and had ordered this truck just the way i wanted it. It is a regular cab with the W code High output 4.3 liter V6, NV3500 5 speed manual tranny with heavy duty clutch, 8.5inch posi traction rear end, LS interior with sliding rear window and deep tinted glass.Truck has always been perfectly maintained and runs awsome. also has the hypertech power programmer with it. something went wrong with the transmission or clutch it only goes into reverse and the front end has minor damage. will need a fender a hood and a bumper unless you can fix them. I have a new grill and front facia for it. This is a great truck and with a little TLC it could be awsome again. if your looking for these trucks you know they are getting harder and harder to find. I have all original paper work and window stickers as well. Please feel free to e-mail or call with any questions at (518) 944-1449. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding.

Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
