This is a really Clean Car. It was a local car, and was a trade in. Always garage kept. I sell a lot of older mustangs, and this one is by far the nicest one I have every had and I have had some nice cars. Truly amazing car, interior of the car looks new. As well as the exterior. New convertible top motor was installed by ford dealer a couple years ago. The ford dealer also installed a 373 Ford Motorsport Ring Gear And Pinion.  The car has new Wheels And Tires, That I installed, they have less than 500 miles on them. The car is very tight no raddles, runs and drives great. The A/C blows ICE COLD, original R12 System. The car also has Flowmaster on it, the catalytic converters are still on the car which most people take off. If you are looking for a one of a kind car that has been very well maintained this is it. Most of you know that Ford put 5 digit Odometers in these cars for what reason I am not sure. The car shows 75,XXX and some change. They title will be Exempt on the miles do to its age. Any thing over 10 years old are automatically Exempt. Auto Check shows Fire Damage. The previous owner Explained that a tree limb fell on the driver side fender and hood. Which resulted in the battery shorting out. He Said there was hardly any damage due to the battery shorting out. There is no physical damage visible. The owner said that is was not bad when it happened but turned it in on his insurance to get the repairs made. It has a Clean Title NO BRANDS whatsoever. If I was Not a Dealer you would never know unless you pulled a Report on the vehicle. I sell Nice Cars I do not sell Junk. If the vehicle needs something it gets it before I put it up for sale. Over all this is a really nice car I have put around 800 miles on it. If you have any questions fell free to ask. Thank you for looking, if you have any question feel free to call me or send me a message on here. 828-817-3252 I did not attach the top cover so i just laid it on top and took a picture. I would drive this car anywhere very good running car. As you know the vehicle auto checks are not that accurate for these older vehicles. This is a VERY nice car, the pictures really do not do justice you will not be let down.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

2014 Chevrolet Cruze TD fires up its new diesel motor

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Ever since General Motors confirmed plans to produce a diesel-powered Cruze back in 2011, we've been eagerly awaiting its arrival. And as part of the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet has pulled back the cover on its oil-burning compact sedan, set to go on sale in the near future with a starting price of $25,695, not including $810 for destination.
The heart and soul of the Cruze TD (that's its official name) is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline four-cylinder engine rated at 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine also has an overboost function that will increase torque to 280 lb-ft for up to ten seconds. The full brace of official specs haven't been released, but GM tells us that highway fuel economy will come in at 42 miles per gallon. If that number sounds familiar, it's because the Volkswagen Jetta TDI has the exact same rating. Unlike the Jetta, however, the Cruze TD can run on B20 biodiesel, where as the Volkswagen can only accept B5.
Model-specific changes to this 2014 Cruze TD include an aero kit and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's a full leather interior, and Chevrolet will provide two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance, not to mention a 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
