For Sale is my 2001 Silverado. It is a no option V6, Manual Transmission, Short Cab, Long Bed, 2 Wheel Drive pickup. It has crank windows, no AC, and a cloth interior. It does have 74,000 original miles and runs excellent. The only work it needs that I know for sure,

1. The outer rocker panels will need to be fixed. They have rotted a bit but not into the cab.

2. It may need a clutch master cylinder possibly just a fluid change though, the sale of the truck includes a new in box GM clutch master cylinder. ($160.00 from dealer)

3. It will need rear brakes.

4. It came with an AM/FM radio that no longer works. It will need a radio if you want one. ($100.00 for complete setup from Crutchfield)

This is a bare bones work truck that will provide reliable transportation for a long time with a little investment. Cosmetically, it is far from perfect but the interior is in great shape, it has low miles and runs perfect. Contrary to popular belief, 2wd trucks are great in the snow with just a little weight and good tires. Which reminds me, all 4 tires are perfect with only a few thousand miles on them. Exhaust is in good shape. Recently the fuel, air, and oil filter were changed along with wipers. There is no warranty on this truck, it is sold as is with a NH Bill of Sale only, as it is too old for a title. Pick up only please, I accept Paypal and Cash in person. 2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
