You are looking at what I believe to be the best 2007 Chevy Silverado 4wd available anywhere.  It has extremely low mileage and has been very well taken care of.  It has the 6.0 liter that is very rare.  All other 4wd lifted trucks I have seen have the 5.3.  This truck has plenty of power, but it drives down the road like a dream.  I originally thought the oversized tires would cause it to ride rough and be very loud.  This is not the case at all.  It is incredibly easy to drive and the tires are not loud at all.  It has a 6" lift with oversize tires/rims.  Those are both in excellent condition.  It has color matched fender flares which set the truck off nicely.  It has dual exhaust with electric cutout headers.  I cannot say enough about this feature.  If you want to run normal duals which sound really great, you can.  Or with a touch of a button, you can let people know you are coming down the road by opening the cutout.  It sounds amazing.  On the subject of sound, it has an air horn with a compressor in the truck box.  Very easily can get you into some trouble if you blow that horn in town.  If you have never heard one before, it literally sounds like a train horn.  Not a diesel horn.  A TRAIN HORN!  The interior of the truck looks as good as the exterior.  I would give this truck a 9.9/10 all day long.  If you have any questions, or are seriously interested, I can be reached at 501-681-4857.

I will add more pics as I have the time.  Seat covers do NOT come with the truck.  The seats are in great shape as they have been covered for years.  Mileage may vary with use.  I do reserve the right to end auction at any time as it is for sale locally.  Find one near as good looking as this truck, then compare mileage and price.  Also, some people are putting extremely low miles to catch your attention, but if you read further it actually has those miles AFTER they built it.  **MINE HAS 26,747 ORIGINAL MILES.**  Those other guys will lead you astray and their truck actually has 100k more than they advertise.   Good Luck.

Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. See for yourself in our image gallery above.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.
