Offered for sale is this 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Extended cab short bed. Truck has a Duramax diesel engine with the five speed Allison automatic transmission. I am a used car and truck dealer in Sherman TX. This is a one OWNER TRUCK that i bought from a Chevrolet dealership in Rockdale TX. The original owner bought this truck new at this dealership and always had it serviced and maintained there. When i purchased the truck it had 176,000 miles on it. It had new injectors put in at a 150,000 miles, new instrument cluster, and new steering column intermediate shaft. Just after i bought the truck i replaced the idler arm, pitmam arm, adjusted torsion bars and aligned the front end. Installed new monroe gas magnum shocks on the rear. Tires on rear of truck are Michelin LTX MS2 265/75/16 that only have 17,000 miles on them front tires are Michelin LTX AT2 that have about a 1/4 of tread left. Truck also has a factory Bose Stereo .Will not find a better sounding stereo. Truck also has a new oring rebuid kit for the fuel filter housing. Trucks body does not have any major dents, just a few little digs that are not very noticeable. Has a few scratches but not bad for its age. Also has a few hail digs on roof but very small and not very noticeable. Justed had the a/c serviced by replacing compressor, accumalator, and orfice tube. The diesel does not have any blow by. Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. GM investing $167m in Spring Hill for new midsize vehicles
Tue, 06 Aug 2013General Motors has announced a large investment in its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. The former home of Saturn production will be getting a $167 million addition to a previously announced $183 million, to cover a pair of new midsize vehicles. The investment is expected to create 1,800 jobs at the factory.
That $350 million is being divvied up for a pair of programs at Spring Hill. The first will take the bulk of the money ($223 million) and create 1,000 of the 1,800 jobs, while the other will take the remaining $127 million and generate the leftover 800 positions. But GM says the investment will cover "midsize vehicle programs." So what could they be?
The leading candidate in our minds is a new crossover for Buick, called the Anthem, that will slot between the Encore and Enclave, but will be slightly smaller than the Equinox and Terrain. As we've explained, the new model will likely be the first product to sport GM's new D2UX platform, which will eventually replace both the Delta and Theta platforms. Spring Hill is already building the Equinox, so there could be some credence to this theory.
