Hello Truckers,
I am selling my good friends 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 Crew Cab LT 4X4 pick up. This Dually is fully loaded. The truck is a 6.6L Turbo deisel with 223,000 original miles. The purchase price for this truck was 48,300.00! The motor had a problem getting air into the fuel system, and would die out. Upon bleeding the sytem, the truck starts right back up again. Will run months before happening again. Very random. He took it to a shop and they gave him 2 codes after having it checked on a computer. The codes are P2146(Fuel Injector Group A, Supply voltage circuit open). The second code was PO201. The motor runs great, and idles great, but will need these 2 or 1 items repaired. My friend does not have the money right now, as he is a construction worker and work is still very slow. His lose, your gain!!!! It has been priced accordingly. Also, the 2 rear fenders will need repairing as you can see in the pictures . The interior is very nice with no holes anywhere, but a small one on the arm rest. Interior is all leather front and rear seats. All power, AC works excellent, Heavy Duty Allison transmission works great. The truck gets about 16 mpg, and like I said runs great. It just needs the codes fixxed. Paint is still very very nice. 4x4 works perfect. Truck has not been neglected at all, owner just having hard times!!! TONS OF POWER!!! Truck will need new tires. He has a new set of brakes you can have for the rear. Front brakes are good. All disk brakes. Price has been listed below Low Blue Book due to repairs needed. Low Blue Book price is 15,56800.00. This is alot of truck for the money, and putting a little money into it will result in a really nice truck! NO OIL LEAKS!!! Also, the truck needs new passenger side mirror, and drivers side key lock. However, the truck can be opened and closed and locked with remote, which works fine. So, to put everything up front you will need: 1. To have codes fixxed(minor repairs) 2. To have fenders fixxed(this does not effect driving at all) 3. Passenger side door mirror.(does not effect driving) 4. Drivers side door key entry. (does not effect driving) 5. Will need tires. I will vouch for my friend. He is honest and a good person. CHECK MY FEEDBACK!!! I am honest as well! Good luck and Merry Christmas |

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
