2007 Chevrolet 3500 rack body dump truck, dual wheels, 4x4, automatic transmission, air conditioning, 6.0l V8 engine, recent front tires, cloth interior is tan. This is a ONE OWNER ESTATE TRUCK.

THE TRANSMISSION HAS NO REVERSE!   THE TRANSMISSION HAS NO REVERSE!    THE TRANSMISSION HAS NO REVERSE!

The chevy runs great except for the reverse gear in the transmission, I have no idea what is wrong with it but it will not go into reverse. The tuck has only surface rust on the frame, brake lines look replaced at one time but I have no idea when.

The exhaust manifolds are making noise as any chevy on the planet does, you will need gaskets, the check engine light is on also, I scanned it and shows a exhaust leak, manifold gaskets.

The dump works great, up and down with no problems, the bed looks to be in great shape, it measures at NINE FEET LONG. The four wheel drive works great, I drove the truck 45 miles back to my shop with no problems, praying the whole way I would not have to back up. The A/C blows cold..

You can drive the truck home as long as you do not have a need to go in reverse.

We are car and truck wholesalers in the state of Connecticut, we only purchase new car dealer trades, this is to big to ship to the auction so we decided to sell it on Ebay.

I have 100% feedback and I plan on keeping it, please read my feedback, you will see that we are sincere and honest, please call and ask any questions you would like, I am a phone call away. The truck is for sale locally, I will end the auction at any time if the ( very low) reserve is not met.

If you have no feedback or any negative feedback please save everyone some time, I will delete your bid and block you from the truck, I do not play games. If you call and speak to me like a human being should, I will let you bid. Simple..

Please call me with any questions on my cell phone, the reserve is set low as I sell everything on the first try,  DO NOT ASK WHAT THE RESERVE IS, BID TO WIN PLEASE!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
