1971 Chevy suburban 2wd 350 motor, automatic transmission, new tires and wheels, silverline exhaust, nice running 350 motor, converted to automatic, good paint with few bad spots(pics show), runs strong and looks great with a'lot of compliments, has 2" lowering kit installed, comes with stock springs as well!Runs strong. Wood floor in the back and barn doors, is also a 3 door. New Xentec lights, and new horn (sounds nice). Don't pass up on this lowered burban!
On Apr-19-14 at 11:50:19 PDT, seller added the following information: It currently has dual flow master exhaust, also comes with the silver line exhaust and stock springs, for it has a lowering kit installed, looks very nice. The vehicle runs great and can go on long trips without a need to worry! It is not perfect and can be considered a project, but as it sits now it is definitely daily driver capable, it looks very nice and I always get complements on how good it looks with the wheel and tire combo/ paint scheme! The motor and trans were put in less than a year ago. Also, the hinges are brand new, the one's that hold the hood, the two on the sides. 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
