Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that might not do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, ect. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After is has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and that's all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 31day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper Midwest, $500 to outer Midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $250 of that deposit and keep $250. However if you never show up, then we will keep all the $500. Deposit can be Cash in person only, Pay Pal, Certified Bank Check, or a Bank Wire Transfer. Total Balance Due, Any remaining balance must be paid with in 5 business days of the end of the auction. Warranty, Most auto manufacturers don't stand by the factory warranty with a car has a salvage title, however some still do. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. If you do want to check on the warranty status, all you need to do is call your local GM dealer and give them the vin number to this car and ask them if the warranty is still good. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any prior accident repair issues with this car with in the first 90 days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill
Wed, 10 Sep 2014According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.
Chrysler names six new board directors
Mon, 16 Jun 2014Executives may call the shots day-to-day at the world's leading automakers - much as they do at any other corporation - but the ultimate decision-making body remains the board of directors. And Chrysler has just named six new members to its board.
The appointments include Hermann Waldemer, the former CFO of Philip Morris International - the tobacco giant whose Marlboro brand has funneled untold billions into Ferrari as the Scuderia's title sponsor for decades, and on whose board Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne sits. Waldemer replaces Doug Steenland, who came to the Chrysler board after Northwest Airlines (at which he served as CEO) merged with Delta, and whose term on the board expired just days ago.
In addition to the Waldemer appointment, Chrysler has expanded its board with five more seats, all filled by existing group executives. Among them are Reid Bigland (head of US and Canadian sales and of the Ram truck brand), Fiat general counsel Giorgio Fossati, human resources director Michael J. Keegan, Jeep CEO Michael Manley, and group CFO Richard Palmer.
