For sale is my wifes Chrysler 300C Hemi. It is loaded with options including all wheel drive, leather interior, power moonroof, and navigation. It is a low miles car (54,500), and has a clean Car-Fax. She purchased it 2 years ago, along with a 100,000 mile warranty, and used it to commute to work. She has recently retired, and must sell it due to health reasons. The paint and body look like new, and the interior has no rips, tears, or wear on the leather. In addition to the above mentioned options, it has power seats with drivers memory, power mirrors, tilt and telescopic steering, driving lights, traction control, cruise control, back-up sensors, power adjustable brake and gas pedals, and an AM FM CD stereo. The warranty is transferable for $100 and is a complete one, even covering the All Wheel Drive components. It has about 3 years left on it and about 80,000 miles. The 100,000 mile warranty was from the mileage when she purchased it, which was in the 40's. The warranty goes to 140,000 plus miles. Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition returns for 2014 with AWD option
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Before last year, many of us car guys had no idea who John Varvatos was. That all changed when the Detroit-native fashion designer lent his talents to the Chrysler 300 to create the snazzy, special-edition 300C John Varvatos models. The fashionable sedan returns for 2014 with two versions (Luxury and Limited), and the only big news here is that the latter model will be getting an optional all-wheel-drive system.
Distinguishing the Luxury and Limited models, the Luxury comes with Platinum exterior accents and is offered in a handful of colors while the Limited gets darker Titanium accents and only comes with a Phantom Black Tri-Coat paint job. Both cars get an exclusive interior design with special leathers, patterns and colors worthy of the designer's name and logo. The JV Edition is the only 300C to offer a V6 engine, but V8 lovers can still opt up for the powerful Hemi engine.
It would appear that the Luxury Edition is already on sale, but you'll have to wait until March for the 2014 JV Limited Edition, which, according to a Chrysler spokesperson, will be "limited from a production timing standpoint." The JV Luxury Edition starts at $41,195 and the Limited Edition will have a starting price of $44,480 (*not including $995 for destination) - both cars can be optioned with all-wheel drive for $2,500. Chrysler and Google launch virtual 200 factory tour [w/video]
Tue, 23 Sep 2014Google is no stranger to showing off some of the most interesting automotive destinations in the world, like the museums for Lamborghini and Ducati, or even a Tesla showroom. However, it's taking that technology even further with a new, in-depth look of the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant where the Chrysler 200 is made. Unlike these earlier online excursions, the new Chrysler factory tour is a fully guided experience that includes several 360-degree videos explaining many parts of the production process.
"Just as we pioneered a completely new Chrysler 200, we are pioneering a new way for consumers to research a vehicle. The Factory Tour is an opportunity for us to prove to consumers that the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is not one ever built before," said Olivier Francois, Chrysler's chief marketing officer, in the company's release.
Chrysler was already pretty proud of its nearly $1 billion in recent updates to the Sterling Heights factory having released a look at the 200's assembly process earlier this year. However, the new Google tour goes far deeper by including 12 videos, and between highlighted stops, viewers can swing the camera all over to get a full view of the action. The whole thing is an intriguing way to show the way a modern car gets built.
