About two weeks back a Cadillac dealer in Myrtle Beach that i deal with traded this car in and I had to have it...

It is absolutely brand new inside and out,The dash, seats, all interior parts, carpet, convertible top headliner, even all of the chrome in the interior is perfect...

The A/C and heat work as they should, The windows operate quickly and aren't struggling, The top works very smoothly and doesn't whine like it's having a hard time moving it, The factory sound system sounds fine (speakers don't pop from age). The cruise control works fine all door locks work as they should..

Transmission shift very well ..It doesn't matter whether its cold or warm it always shifts correctly..
It also transitions nicely from drive to reverse and reverse to drive..No clunks or bumps

The motor cranks up as it should and even after a while of idling or driving this car does not smoke..I know that was a big problem back in the day with this Chrysler motor...Everything under the hood except the battery is factory or been replaced by a factory part...Under the hood is like new as well..Everything is as you would expect in 1990 if you bought this car new..

The wheels are free of curb rash and still have great color to them..The tires have about half tread left them, The car does not shake or vibrate down the road at any speed so you won't need to replace the for awhile..

Every panel lines up very well and there isn't evidence at all of prior paintwork anywhere on the vehicle..If it did have any sort of paintwork I would let you know  (No need to lie about it and later on receive bad feedback)...

The paint still shines very well on this car and the chrome on the exterior is still near perfect...

The headlights operate as they should and are free of issues..

The mileage is correct..The odometer works correctly also...I drove a few miles and actually made sure that if it went 3 miles it registered 3 miles..Some of these have been known to strip a gear or two but still register mileage but it wasn't uncommon to travel three miles and only register 1 and a half miles...

Carfax and Auto check show 1 owner with no accident and correct mileage!

Chrysler stays IPO until 2014

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

There will not be a Chrysler IPO in 2013. Fiat, according to a report from Forbes, has announced that it will not be able to make the American brand's initial public offering before the end of the year, saying that the short, five-week window that makes up the rest of 2013 is "not practicable."
Not surprisingly, the issue with the Chrysler IPO is the same as it's always been - a disagreement between parent company Fiat, which owns 58.5 percent of the Chrysler Group and a UAW healthcare trust, which owns 41.5 percent. Fiat wants to buy out the UAW VEBA healthcare trust, which is responsible for shouldering retiree healthcare costs, but the two sides are hung up on an actual price tag for the remaining two-fifths of the company.
The original idea saw an IPO as a way of setting a fair market price for the remaining shares, although it's not entirely clear what broke down and led to a delay of the IPO plan. As Forbes points out, by waiting until 2014, Chrysler could be risking a cool-off in the IPO market, which could mean less money in its pocket when the automaker finally goes public.

Chrysler UConnect wins AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award

Wed, 09 Jan 2013

The first annual AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award has been won by Chrysler's upgraded UConnect system.
Over 35 entries were considered and narrowed down to six finalists in three categories: Connectivity, Telematics and Active Safety. The judges, which included editors from AOL Autos, Autoblog and Engadget, as well as a number of other auto and tech journalists and luminaries, chose UConnect over the MyFord Mobile app, Audi Connect with Google Maps, Cadillac CUE, Honda's LaneWatch technology and Nissan's Tire Pressure Alert and Refill System. Even readers who were polled on which technology should win chose UConnect.
AOL Autos Editor in Chief David Kiley remarked that Chrysler's UConnect deserved the first Technology of the Year Award not because of what it does, but for how UConnect performs every time it's used. Kiley went on to say UConnect works the way it's supposed to, fills a need and puts a smile on your face. By meeting those requirements, UConnect very much deserved AOL Auto's first Tech of the Year award.

Chrysler shows creative side with employee art exhibit

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

The United Auto Workers and Chrysler recently sponsored 92 works of art created by 50 of the automaker's unionized and salaried employees for the 2013-14 Artists at Work Exhibition, the ninth such show, which recognizes the creative process required to make art and manufacture vehicles. Chrysler says the event is "the country's only juried art show sponsored by a major corporation and a labor union." Unfortunately, the exhibit is not open to the public, but we have images to share of the winning pieces as well as other interesting exhibits in the gallery above.
"Art and manufacturing have more in common than you might think," says Keith Mickens, Chrysler-UAW National Training Center co-director from the UAW. "The creative process involved in producing a memorable image on a canvas can be used to help build quality vehicles on an assembly line."
A diverse range of art forms are showcased, from metal sculptures to ceramics to photography to paintings and more. Four Detroit-area professional artists narrowed down over 600 submissions to the 92 works of art that were shown at the exhibit, then awarded "Best of Show" prizes to three employees for their work (the first three images in our gallery) and selected 11 employees for honorable mentions. The overall winner is the sculpture above by Joseph Aiuto, titled "Childhood Anxiety."
