EXPORT, NO PROBLEM...
ATTENTION COLLECTORS!! VIN # 0064!!! The 51st Z imported to the U.S.
I am a Z collector and will be offering some of my more rare and sought after cars for sale in the coming weeks...
This is a Super Rare, Original Ultra-Low Vin Series 1 240Z in extremely nice, low mile condition. Classic Series 1
Z car has been amazingly well preserved and nicely restored. This is a very collectible early Z... Z cars with this
low vin and these period correct features are extremely rare, especially in this condition. This car was stored for
many years and restored to daily driver condition by previous owner... it is not a concours restoration or museum
piece but could easily be taken there... it is a very nice driver quality car! Miles are original per owner but are
NOT documented!! The car looks, runs, feels great and is ready to roll. You just dont find them like
this...completely original with matching numbers... collector quality car with values quickly rising. Excellent
weekend cruiser or addition to any collection... daily driver if you like while it increases in value... :)
Body is straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see. Recent refresh and nice quality restoration on an
already excellent original condition car. Good driver quality repaint in original Datsun 907 dark green presents
beautifully with some minor blemishes. Underside is quite clean. Seams and rubbers are good and the body, trim,
moldings etc are well in tact. Has true Panasport Rims currently because I love the look on the green cars but I
have Correct factory slotted mag rims and steel rims as well.
Interior is very nice as well. Seats, Panels, Carpet, and headliner all look great... I have the proper oem
replacment material for the rear shock towers... dash has only a couple of minor cracks.... Gauges and electronics
work properly except the clock (of course)!! Original Am/Fm and power antenna.
Matching numbers L24 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent... 4 Speed trans shifts smooth through the gears.
Suspension feels tight and handles excellent. Brakes are good... Stops straight and sure. Nice driver.

Datsun officially reborn with Go model for India [w/video]

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

In March of 2012, Nissan announced the return of its historic Datsun brand. Datsun used to represent the Nissan brand in a number of markets, but its badge hasn't been worn on a new model since 1981. In 2013, though, it has been relaunched as the Japanese manufacturer's budget offering in the emerging markets of India and Russia.
The model that will lead that charge, at least in India, is the Go, a car that pays tribute to the very first Datsun, the DAT-GO.
The operative term with the Datsun brand is: "budget offering." Don't step inside the Go and expect beautiful hides or brushed metals (it's being sold in India, after all). The instrument cluster features a simple speedometer, while the five-speed manual and the center stack above it are rather barren. It's not without luxuries, though, as iPod-style connectivity is available through a Mobile Docking Station.

Datsun previews new budget sedan for Russia [w/video]

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Nobody does cars on the cheap quite like the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The former part of the equation already has its Dacia brand of cost-effective, no-frills vehicles that have become a favorite of Top Gear co-host James May, and last summer, the latter revived its Datsun nameplate for a budget brand of its own.
The reborn Datsun launched in India this past July with its Go hatchback, returned in September with the Go+ minivan and revealed the Redi-Go concept just last month. And now it's given us our first look at an upcoming budget sedan developed specifically for the Russian market.
The as-yet unnamed vehicle (which we'll bet will incorporate the word "go" into its nameplate somehow) is set to debut on April 4, where it will launch the Datsun brand in Russia. Few details are available at this point, but the low-cost sedan was designed in Japan to offer Russian drivers "an engaging driving experience, peace of mind ownership and accessibility at the right and transparent price, with a competitive Total Cost of Ownership."

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
