For sale is our 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT-4. It is in nearly new condition. Has been in storage for the last five years. Car is clean, inside and out, and has never had pets in it, eaten in, nor smoked in. The back seat was used for the first time this past weekend, when our family took it out for a short ride. Currently registered and insured. Engine is under warranty.

Recent work performed: - Brand New Clutch/Pressure Plate/Throwout Bearing - BRAND NEW Complete Engine from Chrysler. Comes with a 3 year / 100k mile warranty!!!! - All new fluids, front to rear, including fresh brake fluid. - Aligned by dealer on 24 June - Interior is very, very clean, and smells like a new car. - Exterior is almost flawless, not a single door ding! Mostly stock with a handful of minor mods: - 3" Cat-back Mandrel-Bent Exhaust - Mopar Performance Stage 1 PCM - DCR Traction Bars - Neon SRT4 Stage 1 Fuel Injectors - Fuel Return Line - Walbro 255l/h Fuel Pump - Polyurethane Rear Engine Mount Car was put into storage in 2009 for a failed engine. Has been sitting since, and we just pulled it out earlier this year to get it repaired. That is the reason for the new clutch and engine. Here's the kicker: Car has only 2845 miles on it! Engine and clutch have 51 miles, as of today. Clear title is in hand! p.s.- The little spots in the pics you may see on the car or on the seats are rain drops. Is Mopar readying a special-edition Dart for Chicago?
Sat, 26 Jan 2013Chrysler has released the above teaser of a limited-edition Mopar 2013 model that will be unveiled at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Although the automaker doesn't announce what vehicle will get the Mopar treatment, closer investigation of the seats and center console suggest that this car will be a special version of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
This will be the fourth Mopar model in as many years, following on the heels of the Mopar 2010 Challenger, Mopar 2011 Charger and the Mopar '2012 300. There are no details for the Mopar '13 Dart, but we do see that the car will retain the signature black-and-blue color scheme as past Mopar editions. Like these previous models, we expect production of Mopar '13 Dart to be limited to just 500 units.

It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.

First, the good: It's now possible to get a brand-new Dodge Viper roadster, which is nice, considering we're in the dead of summer and many of us like wind-in-the-hair motoring. Now, the bad: This is not a factory option from the automaker, instead coming courtesy of an aftermarket company called Prefix Performance, and that means it's going to cost you some serious coin.
Called Medusa, this drop-top Viper was created without the knowledge or consent of Dodge, but that's probably fine because Prefix works with the automaker already for the final preparation of the American supercar, including paint. According to the company, the current, fifth-gen Viper was built with a convertible version in mind, so no chassis strengthening is required. From the looks of the somewhat grainy photos available, the conversion appears of very high quality.
Want one? Well, that means you're going to need to procure a Viper - Prefix has 10 units ready for transformation as it stands - and that's going to cost at the very least $102,485. Then, you'll need to write a check for an additional $35,000 for Prefix to surgically remove the car's roof. Thing is, for that kind of cash, a prospective owner could buy, among other very nice options, a Viper hardtop and a loaded Miata, or a Corvette Stingray convertible and several pockets full of change. Or, perhaps a new Viper hardtop and a used, first-gen Viper convertible?
