This van does run and drive, engine is very smooth as is the transmission. It does need work before I would call it "SAFE TO DRIVE". I would say it is more of a parts vehicle. It has bad brake line, struts, tie rods, rack and pinion. The engine does have some oil leaks as normal with this type of mileage. The body has some dents and rust as seen in the pics. The interior is kinda rough, the seats are not torn or ripped up but they are stained, and the passenger front seat has 2 small holes in the back of it. It does not have a radio, the instrument cluster does not light up. I listed it as having about 225,000 miles because the inspection sticker was put on just a little over a year ago, it shows being placed on at 204,000 miles. I dont know actual miles due to instrument cluster. Please understand I am not listing this as a great vehicle, it is a little rough. I WOULD NOT DRIVE on the road until work was done first. But would more so call it for parts van. Can drive in yard to see that it does work. I bought this van from a friend that needed some money, he bought it in April of 2004 and drove to work until Oct 2012 when brake line blew. If you have any questions or would like to look at it please let me know. As you can see from my previous feedback I will tell you anything about this van and will be honest with you. NO RESERVE!!! Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue. 2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.

If that ever falls through, though, the womanizing, scotch-drinking anchorman could have a great career just as a Dodge salesman. Bloomberg points out that sales of the 2014 Dodge Durango have rocketed up 59 percent in the first month of Chrysler's funny new ad campaign (which began in early October). But then again, the entire year has been strong for the big SUV, with year-over-year sales increases in the double and even triple digit percentages - including an increase of 117 percent in August.
Of course, the Durango has also received a wealth of new content and a freshened look for 2014 in addition to the Burgundy campaign, and that has to be helping close sales, too. Whether or not the spots themselves are leading to more sales may be a moot point, since they are definitely getting plenty of attention. Almost two months into the marketing tie-up between Dodge and the movie Anchorman 2, Dodge's YouTube videos have received well over seven million views. More than just YouTube shorts and television commercials, the Durango has even received late-night attention, including when Will Ferrell showed up in character as Ron Burgundy on Conan earlier this week.
In the interview, he calls the Durango a "terrible car" that "cracked in half," a joke that probably had Dodge ad execs squirming uncomfortably in their Barcaloungers.
