THATS NO MISTAKE, 2457 MILES, of course the car looks and drives like brand new because it basically is. I bought the car in N.C., they were hard to find then. I trailered it back to Sarasota and have driven it very little since. It has been kept in an air conditioned de-humidified garage since new. It's a 6.1 SRT8 HEMI, 6 speed "Tremac" manual transmission. "brilliant black crystal pearl coat" SRT8 with all the features. Carbon fiber hood stripe. It is sun-roof delete, Beautiful grey/black leather interior, the up-grade stereo with the 10" Kicker Bass in the trunk, 6 disc,/CD/DVD/NAV/MP3 13 Kicker SRT Hi performance speakers, 2 Kicker amps one for the sub-woofer and one for the head unit. To many options to list. I also have the original window stickers, all the tags that came on the car, all the instructions and paperwork, both manuals, one is for the stereo, The car still has the sticker on the windshield that says to put nitrogen in the tires. I have a lot of auto-belia for the car also, calenders, magazines, dealer advertisement pamphlets and more. I am a private owner not a dealer. A lot of paper work. Chrysler's Woodward Dream Cruise festivities include Ram concept truck debut
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The streets will be crowded next weekend along Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan for the 19th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise. As part of the run-up to the festivities, Chrysler has announced that all of its brands - Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, SRT and Mopar - will bring along their latest vehicles. Also included will be a collection of classic American cars and various activities for attendees at the official Chrysler location on the corner of Woodward and 13 Mile Road.
Special to this year, Ram brand director Bob Hegbloom and head of design John Dehner will unveil a Ram concept truck on Saturday. Chrysler will also bring Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs fame along to show off a few custom Chrysler-made vehicles of his own. Fans of the brand on Facebook will get the chance to virtually customize a vehicle from the automaker's portfolio, with the winner getting their dream car built for them by Chrysler. Pretty cool stuff, no?
As in past years, Ford and General Motors will have an official presence at the event as well, and you can expect to see plenty of cars of all makes and models from all parts of the globe. The madness starts this Friday, August 16, from 4:30 PM to 10 PM, with the main event taking place on Saturday, from 9 AM to 9 PM. It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat in the works
Fri, 25 Jul 2014In Autoblog's recent First Drive of the 2015 Challenger SRT with the 707-horsepower Hellcat V8 we found its engine to be as brutally powerful as the numbers would suggest, even if it wasn't the best handler. However, the muscle-car-styling just isn't right for some buyers that need four doors and proper rear seats to haul around the family. It appears that Dodge has their backs, though, because the Hellcat is very likely on its way into the Charger in the near future. Imagine the looks on your passengers' faces when you stomp down on the throttle.
According to Road and Track, when Dodge submitted the Hellcat for engine power certification to the Society of Automotive Engineers, the company included the Charger on the paperwork. That showed that the automaker wanted the engine checked out for the sedan, too. R&T reckons the 707-hp Charger would hit the road about a year from now, clearing the Challenger for a year of exclusivity with the powerplant.
When the Charger SRT Hellcat does hit the road, it may carry a very special accolade. Assuming nothing beats it in the meantime, it might be the world's highest horsepower production sedan. Think on that for a second. Even a Mercedes S65 AMG only has 621 horsepower, though a good bit more torque at 738 pound-feet to the Dodge's 650 lb-ft. So while the beastly engine is getting put into other models, where else would you like to see it? The Ram? Grand Cherokee? Let us know in Comments.
