2010 Dodge Challenger Srt8 Coupe Supercharged 562hp 6-speed on 2040-cars
Crown Point, Indiana, United States
Supercharged near perfect Torred 2010
Challenger with 6 speed, sunroof, Customer preferred package 21X (Kicker
Sound system) media center including NAV, 3.92 axle, 20 inch
wheels. 562 HP dyno . This is a blast to drive! Vortec
supercharger with owners manual. MOPAR Performance CatBack Exhaust - sounds amazing! Window sticker. Car cover. Factory
touch up paint. Original owners manual. Total price of this car with
supercharger was over 53K. I am the second owner, car is originally
from Florida. Always garaged. Never been in snow. Tires recently
rotated and balanced so it drives wonderfully however tires are the
originals and will need replaced in near future. This car had a new
rear quarter panel put in on the driver's side by the original owner
because a car backed into it in a parking lot. You cannot tell it was repaired, and i would consider myself very anal on condition. I
talked to the original owner about this and feel quite confident it was
repaired correctly ("no expense spared") so to me it is a non issue or I
wouldn't have bought it. It runs and drives perfectly. Flawless dark
gray suede leather interior with red accent stripes on seats. No dents
or door dings. There is a 1mm x 2mm rock chip on the hood. I have
factory touch up paint for that.
Reserve on this car is set at 30k, which is by far the lowest you will find on Ebay, especially for a 2010 Model Year. Finding a Supercharged Challenger at this price is near impossible. Finding a 2010 in near perfect condition is! Wicked fast yet stable. I will also rebate back $500 from the final selling price since the tires are getting old. . This car is in outstanding condition and runs flawlessly. Oil has 1,800 miles on it, and I just changed the supercharger oil which was very, very clean. |

Dodge Dart falls short of Consumer Reports Recommended, Caddy XTS and Lincoln MKS, too
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The Dodge Dart, Cadillac XTS and Lincoln MKS all failed to earn a "Recommended" rating from Consumer Reports. When it came to the compact Dart, the organization's testers thought the vehicle offered a quiet cabin, solid-feeling chassis and nimble suspension, but the new model ultimately fell short of the coveted rating due to powertrain issues. The institute's reviewers found the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to be underpowered and noted "drivability issues" when the available turbocharged 1.4-liter four was paired with the optional dual-clutch transmission (some of our editors disliked it paired with the six-speed manual). CR also dinged the latter powerplant for sounding "raspy." For what it's worth, we think the forced-induction engine offers an excellent and playful exhaust note, but that's just us.
As for the XTS, CR lauded the car for its luxurious cabin, but the vehicle's experience was dulled by its finicky CUE infotainment interface. Overall, the big Cadillac scored much higher than its cross-town rival from Lincoln. While testers found the American luxury sedan to offer a quiet ride and quality fit and finish, they felt the MKS delivered a "cramped driving position, ungainly handling, uncomposed ride, and limited visibility." Ouch. At the end of the day, both cars fell short of rivals from Japan, Germany and Korea. Check out the full press release below with more details, along with CR's musings on the Chevrolet Spark and Lexus ES.
2015 Dodge Charger shows off its new look in New York [w/videos]
Thu, 17 Apr 2014With a new look inspired largely by the Dart compact, the 2015 Dodge Charger made its New York Auto Show debut today. Along with the interior and exterior changes, an eight-speed automatic becomes standard across the range.
What hasn't changed is the choice of engines under the Charger's long hood. A 3.7-liter V6 serves as the base mill, and can be had in both rear- and all-wheel-drive varieties, while the 5.7-liter V8 is an optional item and can be had in rear-drive only. Outputs are also carried over from last year, with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the six-pot, while the Hemi V8 delivers 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The new exterior treatment is a fairly large departure from the styling tone set by the Charger since its reintroduction to the US market in 2006. The blacked-out, crosshair grille and new headlamps are the biggest changes for 2015, though there are other, less immediately noticeable updates, such as the more rounded "Racetrack" taillamps that, like the front fascia, draw some inspiration from the Dart.
Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
