2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Blacktop Edition w/ 27J pkg

988 MILES

SUPERB!

Here is YOUR opportunity to own the best R/T Challenger on eBay! My loss is your gain!

Purchased the car brand new four months ago from Mall of Georgia Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Have a baby on the way, so my beloved dream car must go already..sickening for me really.

This is my first Challenger, and was planning on keeping it forever, however circumstances change.

I was specifically after a 27J package Blacktop 6-speed manual car, it is absolutely prefect. Better than NEW!

Originally was $35465 MSRP. I have EVERY piece of original documentation!

Car comes with:

Locking lug nut key (Mopar wheel lock kit was added at purchase)

Owners books/manuals/DVD (never opened)

Welcome letter from Dodge President

Window Sticker

Both Sets of Keyfobs

The car is gorgeous. Starting with nothing less than the BEST poweetrain...5.7L HEMI V8 and the TREMEC 6-speed Manual transmission. BULLET PROOF. The tranny will never break, clutch is very easy to learn. The Hemi motor is special with this specific Challenger, its the ONLY Hemi 5.7L motor that DOES NOT have the MDS 4 cylinder mode. It only comes on the 6 speed manual versions of the Challenger. (Specifically why I wanted this powertrain for long term use, Zero issues down the road). The Blacktop edition gives the Challenger all the right enhancements both visually, and mechanically! From the exterior, it is outfitted with the premium 20 inch powder coated factory black wheels wrapped over upgraded Goodyear Eagle F1 245ZR45R20 tires. Factory performance tuned suspension and steering which gives noticeably better handling and drivability. In addition, the front grille surround is Black Vapor Chrome finish and set off with Matte Black Dual Stripes over top off the car with red accents around striping. Paint is Black Clear Coat and looks brilliant! On the interior, the 27J package brings the car to comfort and great ammenities. Full Nappa Leather trimmed seats with white stitching throughout. Heated Seat. Compass and Temp Gauge. Electronics Convience Group. Auto down windows. Keyless Enter N Go System. Push Button Start. Power Heated Body Color Mirrors. Backup Parl Assist Sensors. EVIC center. Tire Pressure Monitoring. Fog Lights. Uconnect with Voice Command bluetooth for up-to five phones and streaming audio, with voice to texts. Has Aux plug-in, two 12V power outlets and one USB port. Sliding leather armrest. Leather wrapped Steering wheel with audio controls on the back.

This car is so clean and perfect is could be in a museum. I have personally hand washed the car twice since I have owned it. It was waxed since day 1 and the paint is butter smooth with mirror perfect reflection. NO swirls. NO scraches. NO dents. NO dings. Literally showroom butter smooth perfect black paint. The interior is flawless! You will not find a single spec of dirt or dust in this Challenger. The seats have been conditioned with special leather conditoner to bring out the suppleness and softness of the leather. The floor mats have NEVER been stepped on by feet. I had rubber slush mats over the factory original carpeted ones. The backseat has NEVER been sat in. Only had a passenger with me on two occasions. I strictly used this Challenger as my Sunday driver, just to church and my folks house in Cumming. NEVER seen rain. ALWAYS garage kept EVERY day. Regulary waxed after short drives. You will have nothing to do but hop in and enjoy and brand new perfect muscle car. EVERY nook and crevis has been cleaned to perfection. The door jams, under the hood, trunk area, wheel wells...everything. It is literally spotless and BETTER THAN NEW! I have spent MORE TIME cleaning and waxing this car than I have drove it.

I have inspected every inch of this car before listing for sale...can only find two tiny rock chips in the front bumper, so small you wouldn't know it existed until I told you. I hate to sell this car, I really love it...but my loss is your gain. I would prefer to sell to a Mopar enthusiant, or anyone who can promise it will go to good home and be well taken care of! Make it your daily driver, drag racer, or show car. Its perfect and ready for the road. I would prefer to complete the deal in person if possible. I can help with shipping arrangements if your an out of state buyer. Cash, Money Order, Bank Certifed Check, or Cashiers Check are acceptable forms of payment. Title is clean and clear. Purchaser WILL recieve car with under 999 miles GURANTEED. Currently has 988 miles, I may drive it one last time to church this Sunday, weather permitting obviously.

Under full factory Warranty that stays with the car. 3yr/36K month Bumper to Bumper. 5yr/100K Powertrain. 5yr/100K Roadside Assistance. I will include my FREE oil changes with purchase if you use Mall of Georgia Dodge for service.

I can show it almost anytime. Call me to schedule pre-bid inspection, or to make purchase. I can answer ANY question you have, and PROVIDE up to 90 ADDITIONAL photos frm my photbucket account. Just email or text for more pics...MOPAR MATT 770-342-8007

You will not be dissapointed in this incredible R/T Blacktop car.

Dodge Viper to out-Hell the Hellcat with supercharged V10?

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

The Viper wouldn't be the Viper if it wasn't the most powerful model under the Chrysler umbrella. But with the arrival of the Hellcat engine in the Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Viper has fallen behind in the bragging rights department: where the new supercharged V8 produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated V10 offers "only" 640 hp and 600 lb-ft - gargantuan output figures by almost any other standard, but crucially behind on the SRT power scale. Conner Avenue is going to have to do something about that.
Although the Hellcat's engine reportedly won't fit under the Viper's hood, SRT is now rumored to have another trick up its sleeve: supercharge the existing V10. According to the Pentastar performance enthusiasts at allpar.com, Chrysler has already taken delivery of the first such prototype engines so that it can begin the process of fitting it into an upgraded Viper.
The spooled ten-pot is tipped to produce around 800 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. More than that and the Viper's drivetrain, chassis and bodywork would have to be substantially reworked. Though beefier transmissions are available, fitting them would reportedly set off a domino-game of changes required to handle the added torque. Which may be something Chrysler would be prepared to do for the next-generation model, but in the meantime, 800 hp could prove enough to put the Viper back atop the Mopar performance ladder where it belongs, and give it an edge against the new Corvette Z06 to rekindle sales.

Jay Leno gets his denim mitts on Dodge's new Challenger Hellcat

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is definitely the performance car of the moment. The fact that in the near future, people will be able to buy a 707-horsepower muscle machine straight from a major automaker for $59,995 and with a factory warranty almost seems absurd. We drove it recently and found the Hellcat to be just as much of a beast as its numbers would suggest. Now, it's a certain comedian's turn behind the wheel in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage.
This week's guest is Dodge President and CEO Tim Kuniskis, and he's there to drop all sorts of interesting factoids about the Hellcat. For example, its Pirelli P Zero tires retail at around $300 each, he says. That makes its smoky burnouts a rather expensive proposition. Kuniskis, who recently hinted at a mystery Woodward Dream Cruise debut, also talks about the genesis of the 2015 SRT project with a goal to get over some of the standard Challenger's weight and size disadvantages. The fix is a supercharged V8, massive brakes and other goodies to smooth over the platform's more glaring shortcomings.
Leno appears to get a big kick out of the Hellcat. However, he can't seem to stop bringing up his desire to drive one with a six-speed manual. They obviously exist, but Kuniskis has an eight-speed automatic for the retired Tonight Show host to try out. Of course, as with any Hellcat video, there has to be at least one burnout. Despite the expensive tires, it seems like enthusiast's law at this point - and dear ol' Jay wouldn't want to break any rules, would he?

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
