For sale “Nearly Show Room New” Unrestored 1972 Dodge Challenger, 35,620 (may vary) original miles, original paint (Y4 Gold) and interior. Originally equipped with 318 2bbl, and A904 transmission. Original parts are included with sale. (Motor, transmission, hood, 3.23 differential, etc)
History: This car was purchased from the original owner in January 1979 with 28,880 miles, and has remained in my family since that date. I have personally owned the car since August 1981. (32,906 miles). The car with the current 340 has been driven approximately 1,200 miles in the past 26 years. The car was not licensed from 1989-2011. Since removal from storage in 2011: Six Pack was professionally setup and tuned. The original center carburetor was rebuilt and blueprinted. The two outboard carbs were junk so new carbs were purchased, disassembled, blueprinted, and reassembled. The battery, radiator and fuel tank were replaced. The original stock rallye wheels were sandblasted and powder coated back to the original color. (The original owner painted them to match body color as seen in some of the pictures) The 727 transmission was rebuilt professionally with HD clutches etc and SMR 11.25” Pro Sportsman torque convertor. Installed new TTI headers and a full TTI exhaust system, Hi-torque mini-starter, and new shocks on all 4 corners. I have the original window sticker, build sheet, and complete maintenance records. Also included is a set of “old school” aluminum slot wheels & tires purchased by original owner. Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.

Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA
Tue, 08 Oct 2013The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.
2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.
