YEAH IT IS ROUGH AND OLD BUT FIND ONE THAT IS COMPLETE AND AS STRAIGHT AS THIS ONE. FLOORS ARE SOFT IN A FEW PLACES BUT SOLID OVERALL. TRUNK IS ROTTED OVER TANK AND LOWER QTRS ARE IN NEED. PASSENGER DOOR IS WORSE THAN DRIVERS DOOR.ALL HINGE AREAS ARE GOOD. MOST ALL THE RUST IS SURFACE AND CAR HAS BEEN UNCLEANED PURPOSELY TO AUTHENTICATE THE BARN. ROCKERS AREA IS GOOD. TORSION AREAS AND FRAME RAILS ARE ALL VERY SOLID. ALL TRANS LINKAGE IS THERE. PINION SNUBBER, FRONT SWAY BAR, NO POWER. VINYL TOP...HUH. ONE CALL TO LEGENDARY AND THE INTERIOR IS DONE, AS ALL IS AVAILABLE. THE WHITE INTERIOR PICTURED IS ALL LEGENDARY AND WAS, ONCE AGAIN, FAR WORSE THAN THIS CAR. ALWAYS A TENNESSEE CAR. Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.

Want to get your hands on a new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and can't wait to be the first to get one? Las Vegas will be the place to be on September 27. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
Dodge offers 100 years of solid advice in new ad
Fri, 18 Apr 2014This is a cool ad. Dodge, which is celebrating its centennial this year, recruited some of its peers to see what you should and shouldn't do in life. Of course, some are obvious - don't complain, learn from your mistakes and live for now.
Then again, some are less obvious. Some, actually, are downright awesome. Towards the end, each piece of advice is interspersed with clips of Dodge's redesigned Challenger smoking its tires. Really, this ad feels like it'd be worthy of a Super Bowl spot. This commercial's personal nature is really in keeping with some of the big game's most interesting ads, like the Imported From Detroit commercial, the Farmer ad and Maserati's surprise clip from this year's game.
