very rare dodge convertible 4x4 ! I am the original owner .I will give the best honest description i can ,I am a car guy this is a fully loaded model all heavy duty cooling, charging, suspension 3:91 gear ratio, larger fuel tank, hd 4 speed auto with factory cooler. It has a/c blows ice cold.power windows ,power locks, cruise control .bucket seats with console.this truck was ordered by owner of  dodge dealer as a show piece for store front it has all options offered.I drove truck everywhere was great truck. it has been in storage for 5 years .i took truck off road for a oil pan leak rotted, but it was such a great truck i went nuts and replaced everything! yes everything! the convertible top ,weather striping the last set left in existence !the paint is fresh nice black pictures do not do it justice. the stripes are new. interior has new rug.seats have no wear or rips ,plastic panels all in very good shape.dash in very good shape very tiny crack near mounting bolts by windshield been that way for years.outside of truck super nice no rust . super shine no swirls bad body work etc. since i had to remove engine for oil pan i rebuilt the engine (i am in the business) all top quality , i had transmission rebuilt all heavy duty clutches ,bands and all available updates.the converter is also new.The engine oil pan is new mopar.I installed braided stainless steel transmission cooling lines had custom made .the motor mounts ,transmission mounts are new.belts ,hoses, alternator, starter, water pump, cap rotor, wires, new. I went crazy lifted body of frame to paint frame with por15, installed new body mounts, most all hardware replaced with stainless steel. I did the whole front suspension  new cv axles , hub bearings, rotors ,calipers ,pads, tie rods, ball joints ,brakes hoses, all new bushings most updated to poly .control arms powder coated .Front axle carrier all new seals synthetic fluid installed.drive shafts blasted painted, new ujoints balanced. rear end resealed new bearings , synthetic fluid installed.rear brakes all new hardware ,wheel cylinders, shoes, the truck runs and drives like new new. i may have forgotten some of more parts i put in .it was a 6 year project i was doing for myself i had no intention of selling. I collect mopars. So i did it everything right no cheapening out. But life has changed need to slim down  on my toys.Thats the ONLY ! reason i considered selling truck.Being  a car guy i know you will never get what you put into a car or truck you always lose. What i want is  a fraction of just parts forget untold labor hours .But please keep in mind i am not desperate i will not give away ,so save the ridiculous low ball offers ,stupid questions etc. I rather just keep it and make do. However if you are interested please feel free to email or call me is fine .I have nothing to hide ,I have many more pics of engine trans, work as it progressed.  Again its a beautiful rare truck ,you can drive it anywhere . please note mileage is 172000 but obviously looks more like 25,000 It has bout 2000 miles from  complete rebuild.Trucks has brand new all four tires  31x10.5 x15.Sprayliner in bed and come with custom car cover.

Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

We all knew That Kid. As a freshman, he was a big kid, overweight but surprisingly strong. Still, he was often picked on for his size. Then, he chatted with the football coach, who convinced him that his true calling was on the team's offensive line. After a season on the freshman squad and a summer of two-a-days, this mild-mannered, husky high schooler returned for his sophomore year as a big, imposing, solid piece of muscle. Needless to say, the same bullies that picked on him were praying he'd forgotten about them as a 10th grader.
That's the V8-powered 2015 Dodge Challenger. It arrived on the scene with a max of 425 horsepower and a bit of a weight problem. It completed its proverbial freshman year with a nice 2011 refresh, where the SRT8 was bumped up to 470 hp, but it still had some work to do.
Enter 2015, and fresh off three months of constant burpees and wind sprints, the newest Challenger is as big and powerful as it's ever been, but it's now got poise and potential, and my goodness, it's fun in a way that Dodge's muscle car has never been.
