THIS WAGON IS A LOW MILE-RUST FREE- CALIFORNIA CAR RUNS SMOOTH AND DRIVES VERY GOOD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS THROUGH THE GEARS AS IT SHOULD BRAKES ARE GOOD AND STOP AS THEY SHOULD TIRES ARE ALL GOOD WITH OVER 70%TREAD LEFT PAINT IS A OLD REPAINT BUT STILL LOOKS GOOD ENOUGH TO GO CRUISING OR TO SHOW I BELIEVE THIS IS ORIGINALLY AN AIR CONDITION CAR BECAUSE OF VENTS UNDER DASH THIS CAR ALSO HAS MANUAL REMOTE MIRRORS ON BOTH SIDES THAT DO NOT WORK ANY MORE SO THEY NEED REPLACED BACK WINDOW IS ELECTRIC AND IS NOT WORKING,AND GAUGES DON'T WORK WHEN I GOT THE CAR IT WAS NOT RUNNING DUE TO BAD STARTER KEY SWITCH SO I PUT TOGGLE ON OFF AND PUSH BUTTON START SO IT WOULD RUN. Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
Travis Pastrana signs with Dodge for another year, brings partner Bryce Menzies [w/video]
Sun, 14 Apr 2013Dodge and SRT Motorsports announced that the Dodge Dart will be returning for its sophomore season of the Global Rallycross Championship with a two-car team fielded by Pastrana Racing. Travis Pastrana drove his GRC Dart to victory lane in the fourth race of the car's inaugural season, and his race team is looking for even more success with the addition of off-road racer Bryce Menzies behind the wheel of the second car.
