Dick Landy look alike. finished to resemble DickLandys famous 1968 HEMI DART.very near original colors and style of paint, just not lettered. features a real chrysler original steel 426 style hemi-engine now is 438 cubic inches. engine is fresh with all the good stuff= forged pistons,full floating pins w/ spiral locks, plasma rings,stainless valves,comp cams titanium retainers, springs & keepers,teflon oil seals, ported & polished intake & exhaust ports, adjustable Milodon oil pump,also Milodon windage tray & deep oil pan,flat tappet racer brown cam.new mopar crossram intake & 2 holly carbs that work great & idle fine. 2&1/4 hookerheaders &4 inch collectors reduced to 3 inch inlet & outlet mufflers for street use (sounds awesome).backed up by a 727 transmission w/ new hurst shifter .R earend is a dana 60 narrowed w/ new trac lok posi unit, 35 spline with 4.56 gears,has 35 spline new Moser billet axles w/ green bearings. frame is fully tied together w/ rectangular steel tubing.Rear setup features Alston pro-star 4 bar setup using all 4130 chromollyspherical adjustable rod ends. rear suspension is by HAL adjustablecoil over shocks. rear of dana 60 housing is back braced & setup for wheelie bars by competition engineering (included with car). body has complete fiberglass front- fenders, hood & bumper & decklid.has complete rollbar cage system w/ swingout sidebar for driver easy entry.car is setup to race , but also to be street driven, i use antique tags here in va.(over 25 years old ).car has Wilwood disc brakes front & rear w/ parking brake on rears,MSD pro billet distributor & MSD capacitive discharge ignition W/ rpm cutoff..aluminum radiator, WELD pro star15x15 rear wheels &15x4 front wheels, 12 gallon fuel cell w/anti slosh foam inside in trunk area, holly electric fuel pump w/ one half inch fuel line to front,, battery in trunk, new door handles & locks, new headliner, door panels & carpet, has line lock also. . i,m sure i,ve forgotten some stuff, but i think you must get the picture by now.all work performed to a high professional level.

Dodge idles Viper production again at Conner Avenue
Mon, 07 Jul 2014You've got to hand it to Dodge for having the gumption to put the original Viper into production in the first place. It was, after all, much more of an emotional decision than a practical one, and a move which saw the first production V10 engine placed in a road car - long before the advent of the Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT or Lexus LFA, not to mention the other Ford, BMW and Volkswagen Group models that used such engines.
It's now been 22 years since the first Viper entered production and the Viper still rolls on several generations later, but we're sad to say that courageous decision has not always been met with overwhelming sales success. In fact parent Chrysler was forced to idle the Conner Avenue plant where the Viper is made back in April due to slow sales. And while production resumed again as planned on June 23, it apparently didn't do the trick.
As a result, Chrysler corporate communications chief Shawn Morgan revealed to Autoblog that the assembly line has been shut down again for another two weeks. The line was up and running for nearly two full work weeks from June 23 until the holiday weekend that started on Thursday, July 3. But instead of coming back online today as planned, it's been idled again for the weeks of July 7 and 14. That means it will be July 21, at the earliest, before the serpentine supercars start slithering down the assembly line at Conner Avenue again. Once it does, however, production is set to resume at the same pace it was before the shutdown.

Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
