Here is my 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger. Body and paint done one year ago sublime green with ram air hood and go wing. the engine is a slightly built 318 with hooker headers, aluminum manifold, and a edelbrock carb. cast iorn 4 speed with a new clutch and pressure plate. 8 3/4 rearend with 3.91 gears. new mopar rally rims and tires. car is very clean with no rust needs new carpet shifter boot armrests and there is a 6in crack in the wind shield. runs and drives great have driven it 100 mile round trip to work on nice days. great weekend driver. the car was Ziebarted in the 70s keeping it from rusting floor pans and frame. car is originally from Tennessee. if you have any questions feel free to e-mail or call me any time (402)416-8282 Deposit non refundable unless payment recieved within 14 days or special arrangments are made with seller.

2013 Dodge Durango R/T
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets
Fri, 18 Oct 2013Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.
