This great van has been customized for someone that needs a vehicle capable of transporting a wheelchair or electric scooter. This vehicle was purchased by my family a few years ago and we are selling because we no longer need a vehicle capable of transporting an electric scooter.
The ramp is very convenient and easy to move. Everything inside the car works great including the cold air conditioner. The light switch and AC control switch were recently replaced when we discovered a problem with them a few months back.
This van was involved in a small accident a few years ago where it was accidentally driven into a large glass window. There was no mechanical damage to the vehicle but the insurance company totaled the vehicle due to its age. They did not take the $30,000 conversion into consideration when processing the claim. The damage was minimal and mostly cosmetic. All repairs were made and are not detectable. Once the repairs were made, a salvage title was obtained.
Other than this, there are some small spots where the headliner has fallen. The rest of the vehicle is in solid shape. This van rides great, is very comfortable, and has plenty of room for someone that needs a vehicle to transport someone that uses an electric scooter or wheelchair.
My family paid $12,000 for this van about 4 years ago and it made life so much easier for us to care for a loved one. Unfortunately that person is no longer with us and this is our reason for selling it. During our ownership of this van we have made several long trips in it and it has been very dependable. This van has had regular oil changes and when something needed to be repaired it was taken care of. You can drive this van with confidence.
You will not find another van in such good shape and at a better price that is customized for wheelchair/scooter access. There is a company close by that sells converted vans for over $60,000. Why spend that money when you can get a van in good shape for much less cash?

Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.

Autoblog Podcast #317:
Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
