Jonesboro, Arkansas, United States

We are selling a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T loaded up with a ton of features, but first let me explain the history of the vehicle.  The Carfax on this vehicle shows it to have a branded title: Rebuilt/Salvage Title which is essentially the same thing, just called different things in different states.  I do not know the history as to what happened to cause it to have the Rebuilt Title.  The Carfax says it was involved in a rear collision with another vehicle and airbags were deployed.  The vehicle has been rebuilt  very well and all the airbags are back in the vehicle.  When I inspected the vehicle i found evidence of paintwork on the tailgate and rear bumper.  I used a mil gauge to check the paint on all of the panels and found the paint to be thicker on the Right rear fender and the left front fender.  There is also evidence of bolt being turned on the hood and the left front fender.  The vehicle does have factory MOPAR glass all the way around the vehicle, which leads me to believe that the glass is all original.  It also have vin etching that matches on all windows ( vin etching is an anti theft product new car dealers sell that etch a small number in the glass).  The vehicle runs and drives just like a normal vehicle would and all the control and features work just as designed.  The paint looks great on all panels of the vehicle and the body lines match real good as well.  If i were nit picking the car, the rear bumper corners stick out a 1/4 of an inch which is actually somewhat common on the journeys.

This journey is well equipped with the R/T package.  It has tan leather interior, 3rd row seating, Factory Navigation, Factory Rear Seat DVD system (no headphones or remote), Infinity Sound system, chrome wheels, power sunroof, dual exhaust, fog lights, backup camera, fog lights, roof rack and many other great features.  The tires are in excellent condition and look as if they were recently replaced.  All equipment and features work as designed.  This vehicle is being sold AS-IS and has no warranty.  If you would like to inspect the vehicle, you are more than welcome to come check it out.  We will not be offering this vehicle for sale locally, so if you are interested in purchasing it, you would need to do so here on eBay.  Please feel free to call with any questions, just ask for Mike 870-930-0211.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?

Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.

Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013

Sun, 15 Sep 2013

When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
