2004 Dodge Neon Srt-4 Sedan 4-door 2.4l Great Car, New Tires, Adult Driven on 2040-cars
Merritt Island, Florida, United States
Up for sale is my 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4. The car has 114,916 miles, is in overall good condition, and has the sunroof and viper front seat options. Custom turboback side-exit exhaust, Injen intercooler pipe kit, greddy electronic boost controller, fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge, HKS super sequential blow off valve, short throw shifter with custom billet SRT-4 shift knob, DevilsOwn methanol injection system(windshields washer reservoir has been set up for methanol tank), DTEC fuel controller with nintendo gameboy mounted for display/interface, upgraded race intercooler, ported throttle body, brand new OEM heavy duty clutch with aprox. 2000 miles, brand new Dunlop Direzza tires (245/45R/17) with approx. 1000 miles on gunmetal Konig wheels. The Kenwood RT-615 flip-out DVD player head unit will go with the car, as well as the radar detector mounted in front of the rear view mirror with wires already ran to sunroof switch. Also installed four Rockford Fosgate component speakers which sound great! Oil was just changed yesterday with Mobil 1 5W30 synthetic oil. Car runs strong and holds boost great. Has proven to be a very reliable car for me in the 3 1/2 years I have owned it. There are a few small dents/dings as expected for a 2004(pictures included), and some wear on the drivers side front seat. I also have a carbon fiber hood in my garage that will also go with car. I removed it due to the usual clear coat oxidation, with plans of wet sanding it and reapplying the clear cloat, but never got around to it. I have just bought a new car, and unfortunately do not have room for both in the garage. Clean and Clear Florida title with clean carfax. I am starting the bidding as a NO RESERVE auction to get things moving. My name is Sean and you can reach me at my cell 321-626-3581, or my email greggsm7@gmail.com. Buyer is responsible for picking up car/shipping it. Good luck and happy bidding!

Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.
Dodge Viper saved from crusher by students, but will it last?
Tue, 16 Sep 2014The saga of the Washington state community college hoping to keep its allegedly pre-production Dodge Viper out of the maw of the crusher is going strong. Not only does the school still have the car, but there's a chance that the college might even get to keep it.
The whole situation flared up in March when the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA, received a notice from Chrysler Group that requested that the school's Viper be destroyed. The automaker had loaned the muscle car to it about a decade ago to use for educational purposes in its auto tech classes. With the Dodge growing long in the tooth, "it is unlikely that these vehicles offer any educational value to students," the company said in its press release on the matter.
However, the college balked at destroying its Viper, despite the fact it had signed a contract with Chrysler Group to do so. The school further claimed that its car was incredibly special because it was a pre-production example and just the fourth one made back in 1992. Although, as we pointed out at the time, the photos of the school's vehicle showed a coupe that looked like a newer Viper GTS.
