REPO

NO RESERVE!

2005 DODGE NEON SRT-4

2.4L TURBO - 99,250 MILES!

CLEAN

This is one of the best examples of getting the best bang for the buck. This 05 Neon SRT-4 is incredibly fast.  This Neon really impressed me with combining a strong motor with a car that can really handle it.  Plus you are comfortable all at the same time.  This 2.4L Turbo motor is really something.  This car handles great.  The seats are suprisingly comfortable yet firm like you want them to be.

Before I get into the details, I want to state that this car is sold AS IS.  If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.  There is a possibility that there have been upgrades done to this car that are unseen.  Again, I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.  Please ask them before bidding.  I don't want any suprises when you come to pick up the car.

The interior is very clean.  There is a rip in the top bolster on the drivers seat.  The left bottom bolster has some cracks and is flattened out a bit.  The shift knob paint is peeling.  The fabric seats have some spotting.  Nothing major.  Everything else looks pretty good.

This SRT-4 runs, drives, and shifts great.  It really is a blast to drive.  Here are some things I found about the car:

-It pulls pretty good to the left.

-The front drivers side wheel's beauty ring has some damage.  The wheel looks to be scraped. (see pic)

-After going over a bumpy road, the front struts were making a little noise.

-The check engine light is on.

-The rear bumper has a small notch toward the bottom and the paint is spider cracking.  Also has a small crack in the paint on the trunk lid (see pics)

-The passenger side doors are slightly off color wise.  In my opinion is really isn't that bad, but wanted to mention it.

-The tires are mismatched.  One of the fronts will need to be replaced soon.  The others aren't that bad.

-This Neon will come with 1 key and 1 working key FOB remote.

-Buyer will recieve free and clear title.

Like I said in the beginning, you will not find a nicer, faster, driver friendly car for the money.  You can drive this car home.  Someone else's misfortune can turn into your luck day.  Make sure it's you!  BID NOW!

I sold my Viper, but the memories I'll keep

Thu, 30 May 2013

The following is written by auto industry veteran Tow Kowaleski. The words are his own, but the memories now belong to everyone thanks to his willingness to share. If you're an industry veteran with a story to share, contact us at tipsATautoblogDOTcom.
It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.

Mopar '13 Dart is a bruiser of a compact

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

For the fourth year in a row, Mopar is offering a limited-production car decked with a plenty of add-ons and a unique look. This year's black-and-blue car is the Mopar '13 Dart, which was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show with the now-signature paint scheme. Like previous Mopar models, only 500 of the '13 Darts will be built. Past models include the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and the Mopar '12 300.
The all-black Dart gets a brightly contrasting, offset blue stripe running the full length of the car, and other styling mods like the aero-tuned body kit, gloss black grille, wheels and mirror caps. Curiously, Mopar chose to stick with the Dart's standard headlights rather than the darker, smoked lights. The interior gets a similar black-and-blue treatment, but this unique cabin features a blue leather driver's seat to go along with the black leather seating for the rest of the passengers.
More than just a styling package, the Mopar '13 Dart also gets some performance and handling goodies to complement the Dart's turbocharged 1.4-liter engine, such as upgraded brakes with slotted rotors, a lowered suspension, retuned electric power steering and a "sport-tuned" exhaust system.

Dodge idles Viper production again at Conner Avenue

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

You've got to hand it to Dodge for having the gumption to put the original Viper into production in the first place. It was, after all, much more of an emotional decision than a practical one, and a move which saw the first production V10 engine placed in a road car - long before the advent of the Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT or Lexus LFA, not to mention the other Ford, BMW and Volkswagen Group models that used such engines.
It's now been 22 years since the first Viper entered production and the Viper still rolls on several generations later, but we're sad to say that courageous decision has not always been met with overwhelming sales success. In fact parent Chrysler was forced to idle the Conner Avenue plant where the Viper is made back in April due to slow sales. And while production resumed again as planned on June 23, it apparently didn't do the trick.
As a result, Chrysler corporate communications chief Shawn Morgan revealed to Autoblog that the assembly line has been shut down again for another two weeks. The line was up and running for nearly two full work weeks from June 23 until the holiday weekend that started on Thursday, July 3. But instead of coming back online today as planned, it's been idled again for the weeks of July 7 and 14. That means it will be July 21, at the earliest, before the serpentine supercars start slithering down the assembly line at Conner Avenue again. Once it does, however, production is set to resume at the same pace it was before the shutdown.
