You are looking at an awesome old Dodge Pick-up that runs but needs some work to finish. Most of the parts are included such as fenders, running boards, chrome pieces, door hardware, rubbers for brake/clutch pedals, etc. There are lots of spare parts that I got with this truck that are included in the sale. The Brakes need fixed and wiring harness replaced. Someone removed the old wiring harness but I have what is left of it (it actually may be complete but is in ratty condition). Anyone that knows these vehicles will know that there is not much wiring involved. They were very simple mechanisms. Engine runs and purs like a well oiled machine. No Odometer...Mileage unknown. I belive this truck originally was a flat bed but has a wooden truck bed on it now. The bed is very well built and has a tailgate. The rear fenders were notched for the wooden stakes and will need brackets made for a good fit. Has a cool "wind out" windshield that is fully functional. Frame is in excellent condition, I belive it to be a 3/4 or 1 ton chassis. This is a very well maintained vehicle for 66 years old. As you can see the truck was repainted at some point but will need touched up. It does have a few scratches from being moved around. This has awesome possibilities to take it back to "original" or to make an awesome street rod. Buyer responsible for pick-up, no delivery or shipping available. No warranty whatsoever. Dodge bringing revamped Challenger, Charger to Big Apple
Mon, 07 Apr 2014The 2014 New York Auto Show will be a big one for Dodge, as the brand has announced that refreshed versions of the 2015 Challenger and 2015 Charger will debut at the show. This is a particularly big deal for the two-door Challenger which, visually, has remained unchanged since is burst back onto the scene in 2008 and helped reignite the muscle car wars.
As a sort of hint, this announcement was accompanied by the picture you see above - the Super Bee logo in the Challenger's new instrument cluster. According to Dodge, the New York debut of a new "powertrain combination" - possibly with the high-output Hellcat V8 - will leave enthusiasts "abuzz."
As for the Charger, Dodge is promising a full redesign that should be a significant departure from the blunt, angry looks of the current model. At this point, there's no indication that the Challenger's new powertrain could be fitted to the Charger, although considering how mechanically similar these two vehicles have been, it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility.

Wed, 06 Nov 2013The reborn Dodge Challenger might be getting a bit long in the tooth, having been on the market in its current form since 2008, but Chrysler isn't going to give up on its brutish, full-size two-door just yet. For this year's SEMA Show, the Challenger will be getting a new Mopar edition, as well as a retro-cool shaker hood on the 5.7-liter, Hemi-equipped R/T models.
As we mentioned last night, the Shaker Package will cost $2,500, but includes the Super Track Pak (new steering rack, brake linings, upgraded shocks and 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires), a $595 option on its own. The shaker hood result in a performance bump of any kind, but the blacked-out, pop-up scoop is a nifty feature that hasn't been seen on a production car since the Ford Mustang Mach 1 in the early 2000s.
The Mopar '14 Challenger (pictured right) follows the cues of previous Mopar Editions, which have included the 2010 Challenger, 2011 Charger, 2012 300 and 2013 Dart. Only 100 Mopar '14 Challengers will be produced, and they'll include the new shaker hood, Mopar's distinctive blue graphics and wheels, and whatever is pilfered from the accessory catalog.

Tue, 08 Jul 2014When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
