I have a lot more invested in this than the starting bid. I have priced it to sell. This truck runs great. It turns heads as it is or you can restore it to its original colors. Because of the high compression engine and cam, it runs on 110 octane fuel or premium gasoline with octane booster. In addition to the slicks currently installed on the rear of the car, I am including another pair of rear tires that have the tread pattern pictured mounted on the pictured spare rims. Also included is another pair of front rims. The oil pressure/temperature/voltage gauge set (with the blue scale and orange arrow) was installed to monitor the engine conditions. No other gauges are connected.
If you like a classic looking truck, the last picture (the photo of the truck with the green cab and black bed) is a picture of a restored Dodge. Obviously, that is NOT what this truck looks like. As it is now, it is a rat rod. I have been told by some of my friends that it shouldn't be painted because the current trend and highest value is leaving it as is!
The truck is available to be viewed, inspected, and driven. The truck is for sale locally. Feel free to ask any questions. I am not a mechanic or pro, but I will do my best.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily
Wed, 19 Nov 2014In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV
Fri, 29 Aug 2014This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.
