This is a 2004 Dodge Ram Laramie Quad Cab, one owner, non-smoker truck. It has 63000 actual miles. Comes with a Hemi 5.7L V-8 engine. This truck has all the options built in.  Has A/C,  Power door locks, Power windows and seats, adjustable brake pedal, zoned heating and air for driver and passenger, fully carpeted, with bucket heated leather seats in the front, and bench seats in the rear. Has heated mirrors, cruise control, automatic 2WD transmission, Tow package, fog lights, tinted windows, sliding rear window, fiberglass bed cover, carpeted bedliner (very nice), Also has chrome nerf bars installed. In short, this truck comes fully loaded, never been off the road, and has been very well cared for. I still have the window sticker that lists all options on the truck. The exterior color of the truck is a dark burgandy (dark molten pearl). with chrome wheels, chrome bumber and grille. The interior has leather taupe seats, with a grey carpet and floor mats through out. The car is very clean with only a few small scratches. I used this to drive back and forth to work. It has never been off the road, and I have never towed anything. Since my retirement, I have no need for a truck. I keep it well serviced, and just put on new tires, new front brakes, new belts and hoses, and just had the engine serviced with Mobile 1 oil.

Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.

NHTSA investigating Chrysler for airbags, ignition switches

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

Chrysler is being targeted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a pair of actions that focus on over 1.2 million Jeeps, minivans and crossovers.
The first is a "preliminary investigation" that focuses on an airbag issue afflicting the Jeep Commander built in model years 2006 and 2007 and Grand Cherokee from 2005 to 2006. In total, 700,000 vehicles could potentially be affected. It's not entirely clear what the airbag issue is, with The Detroit Free Press simply stating that the restraint systems in the affected Jeeps may be "faulty."
The other investigation is what's called a "recall query" and it covers a problem that General Motors should be familiar with. In this case, there could be a problem with the ignition switches of 525,000 vehicles, ranging from 2008 to 2010 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, to the 2008 to 2010 Dodge Journey crossover. Again, it's not entirely clear what sort of behavior prompted the 32 complaints that NHTSA has received on these vehicles.
