We are selling our 2000 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Sport, which we purchased in April of '01, along with a Hiniker 7.5 foot snow plow. The engine is a Magnum 5.9L V8 four speed automatic.
This truck has a little over 175,000 miles and is in good running condition--the transmission and engine seem to be strong. The body has some rust spots, scratches, and dents. The passenger side turn signal lens is broken, but the light works. All four tires are like new front and back. The truck bed has a sprayed on Rhino liner and also comes with a topper. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the upholstery. No one has ever smoked in this truck.
The Hiniker plow is a 7.5 foot straight plow that we purchased new in Winter 2001. It has good lights which are fantastic for visibility. We only used this plow on our personal driveway and it has been stored in the garage over the summer months.
The only reason we are selling is we are an older retired couple and won't be doing our own plowing any longer. This is a perfect starter vehicle for someone planning to get into the snowplowing business. Thanks for looking. If you have and questions, please feel free to contact us.

We got an inside look at Mopar's cars that will be on display at the show, which also include a Dodge Challenger T/A concept, two crazy Jeeps and a Ram 2500 Outdoorsman that could change the way you camp. While these are some of our favorites, Mopar is bringing plenty to SEMA, so let us know your top choices in the comments section.
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
Dodge offers 100 years of solid advice in new ad
Fri, 18 Apr 2014This is a cool ad. Dodge, which is celebrating its centennial this year, recruited some of its peers to see what you should and shouldn't do in life. Of course, some are obvious - don't complain, learn from your mistakes and live for now.
Then again, some are less obvious. Some, actually, are downright awesome. Towards the end, each piece of advice is interspersed with clips of Dodge's redesigned Challenger smoking its tires. Really, this ad feels like it'd be worthy of a Super Bowl spot. This commercial's personal nature is really in keeping with some of the big game's most interesting ads, like the Imported From Detroit commercial, the Farmer ad and Maserati's surprise clip from this year's game.
