This auction is for a 1994 dodge 3500 dually 4x4 with 150 k miles, this is the 12 valve diesel. I bought the truck for the dump body, then I needed the tranny and transfer case, then I needed the rear tires ,then I needed the exhaust.
I drove it to where it sits now the 4 wheel drive worked fine, the axles are dana 80 with 3.55 ratio and front dana 60.
The motor ran good but smoked, the turbo leaked oil and I think it was putting oil right into the motor,I wanted to get a new turbo but it never happened,The motor has a new oil pan and a new starter,a couple years old now.
The return injector line had a hole in it so it was prone to losing prime, and starting hard compared to a 12 valve with no air leak, this part is 35 on ebay,I also stold the upper ratiator hose, and one bolt and 2 gaskets on an injector for my 12 valve daily driver ,with 217 k miles.
I believe with a new turbo ,and a new return injector line, and injector bolt and its 2 copper gaskets that this could be a great motor.
Yes it looks like its been thru a salt bath, the aluminum is terrible,no doubt the original pan rotted away, the frame has rot underneath where the batteries go,otherwise its solid, the steering box is there but unbolted.
The truck has aluminum running boards which kind of saved the rockers at the time, but now the drivers is popping thru with a big hole in rocker,it looks to be an original paint truck,The cab is in my opinion shot,to far gone, also with the front frame too far gone.
The interior is actually kinda nice, the cb radio and the stereo CD with power amplifier will be gone for my daily driver. The seat is nice windsheild and dash nice, doors close OK,good door panels.
The truck also has the big rear reese hitch.
This has been a backup for my daily driver,my daily driver has 35 k in the last 4 years ,I cant say enough about the 12 valve, reserve the right to end auction early ,any ? just email or call 508-331-0701

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger
Sun, 23 Feb 2014When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.
SRT back to Dodge, Dart SRT, new Challenger, Charger and Caravan's death outlined in 5-yr plan
Tue, 06 May 2014The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
