1993 Dodge B250 Ram Van Starquest Conversion 5.2l 318 2wd Automatic on 2040-cars
Kirksville, Missouri, United States
Very solid two-owner (same family) van originating in Arizona. My grandfather purchased it new and I purchased from him after he quit traveling. Half it's life has been spent in Arizona. StarQuest Conversion completed prior to new purchase. Equipped with 5.2L 318 fuel injected motor and overdrive automatic transmission. Transmission was replaced approx 15k miles ago with genuine Mopar rebuilt transmission. Engine has never required service and has been well maintained at 3K mile intervals (only used Mopar or Wix filters). Vehicle mileage is accurate...under 90,000! No the odometer has not rolled over or been tampered with. Front & rear A/C (original R12 is very cold & never has required service or charged), heat, power steering, power brakes, power door locks, power windows, power mirrors, power driver's seat, am/fm radio(not working)(pictured radio is not included), rear entertainment system(tv & DVD player, need inverter to operate), remote door locks and security system, customer interior lighting(valence, mood, & aircraft), power fold rear seat(conveniently folds into queen bed). We've used this for family travel and camping trips. No longer need as we have a newer vehicle. Van has never been smoked in. Interior shows normal signs of usage (some carpet stains from traveling with young boys). Seats are all in good condition with no tears. Both carpet and seat fabric so show sun fading but still look good. Less than 10k miles on 235/75R15 Firestone Destination LE tires. Paint and body is in good condition and shines up well. Hood and front valence are showing minor chips/surface rust from road. The rust specks can be polished out. No big dents or dings. Van was only involved in one minor accident when my wife hit a deer at about 35mph. Only damage suffered was a cracked grille and broken turn signal lens (I am replacing the lens). No structural or mechanical damage can be seen. Van drives just the same as before. Van must be picked up within 30 days of close of auction by purchaser. I will not ship. I require a $500 deposit made by winning bid/offer at close of auction. Remainder shall be made by money order, certified check, or cash/personal check cleared by my bank at time of pick up. Title and bill of sale will be provided at time of pick up. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Vehicle is available for inspection prior to close of auction. |

Dodge Journey gets new $24,895* SE V6 AWD model
Wed, 12 Mar 2014While the Dodge Journey crossover remains largely unchanged for the 2014 model year, there are two new flavors of the seven-passenger CUV on offer: the butch-looking Crossroad, and the SE V6 AWD, pictured right, which makes its debut today. As its name suggests, this new Journey model features the automaker's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and offers all-wheel drive, which, with a starting price of $24,895 (*excluding $995 for destination), reduces the cost-of-entry for an AWD-equipped Journey by $1,800 versus the SXT AWD model. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Jay Leno gets his denim mitts on Dodge's new Challenger Hellcat
Mon, 04 Aug 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is definitely the performance car of the moment. The fact that in the near future, people will be able to buy a 707-horsepower muscle machine straight from a major automaker for $59,995 and with a factory warranty almost seems absurd. We drove it recently and found the Hellcat to be just as much of a beast as its numbers would suggest. Now, it's a certain comedian's turn behind the wheel in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage.
This week's guest is Dodge President and CEO Tim Kuniskis, and he's there to drop all sorts of interesting factoids about the Hellcat. For example, its Pirelli P Zero tires retail at around $300 each, he says. That makes its smoky burnouts a rather expensive proposition. Kuniskis, who recently hinted at a mystery Woodward Dream Cruise debut, also talks about the genesis of the 2015 SRT project with a goal to get over some of the standard Challenger's weight and size disadvantages. The fix is a supercharged V8, massive brakes and other goodies to smooth over the platform's more glaring shortcomings.
Leno appears to get a big kick out of the Hellcat. However, he can't seem to stop bringing up his desire to drive one with a six-speed manual. They obviously exist, but Kuniskis has an eight-speed automatic for the retired Tonight Show host to try out. Of course, as with any Hellcat video, there has to be at least one burnout. Despite the expensive tires, it seems like enthusiast's law at this point - and dear ol' Jay wouldn't want to break any rules, would he?
Dodge gives 2015 Viper slight power increase, new GT model
Tue, 02 Sep 2014With its troubling sales figures, the newly rechristened SRT Dodge Viper needs to come out swinging for 2015. To do that, Dodge has made a number of tweaks and changes that will hopefully carry the V10-powered sports car into more successful days.
First up for 2015 is a new GT model, which aims to marry the reasonable price of the base car with the adjustable suspension and trick stability control program of the GTS model. The GT also sports a cabin that's covered in Alcantara suede and Nappa leather as standard.
Also new for 2015 is the SRT TA 2.0 Special Edition, which expands on last year's Viper TA by adding new aerodynamic bits and bobs, including a larger rear wing, which ups downforce at 150 miles per hour from 278 pounds to 400 pounds.
