DIESEL MOTOR RUNS SMOOTH AS A BRAND NEW ONE OUT THE TAIL PIPE, NO SPUTTERS OR MISSES , NO SMOKING, JUST WISPERS LIKE A NEW ONE , VERY CLEAN UNDER THE HOOD AS WELL AS UNDER THE VEHICLE , ALSO APPEARS TO HAVE A FRESH INTERSTATE BATTERY. WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IT SOUNDED LIKE IT HAD AN EXHAUST LEAK, I DROPPED IT BY THE EXHAUST SHOP, IT IS NOT A EXHAUST LEAK BUT A FUEL INJECTOR "SEAL" LEAKING ON THE 3RD CYL, BACK, THIS WILL NEED THE INJECTOR PULLED AND THE COPPER SEAL INSTALLED, I HAVE PURCHASED THE COPPER SEAL AND IT GOES WITH THE SPRINTER, I TALKED TO FREIGHTLINER IN KANSAS CITY MO. THEY SAY THIS IS QUITE COMMON, AND THE NEW COPPER SEAL WILL FIX THE LEAK , I COULD NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANWSER ON TIME OR LABOR COST, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. OR MABEY YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF. I AM SELLING THE VEHICLE AS IS WHERE IS AND LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT IT NEEDS NOW.

THE SPRINTER HAS JUST HAD A ROTILLA T 15- 40 OIL SERVICE LESS THAN 300 MILES AGO, I FEEL IT IS A GREAT VEHICLE AND DEFIANTLY WORTH FIXING, IT RUNS DRIVES AND SHIFTS VERY WELL IN SPITE OF ITS INJECTOR SEAL ISSUE , THIS WILL MAKE A NICE VEHICLE TO REPRESENT YOUR BUSINESS

Roadkill pits every project car against each other

The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.

Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger

Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.

25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango SUVs recalled over brake feel

Chrysler has announced that it is recalling over 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from several markets over concerns about brake feel under hard braking. The affected models are from the 2012 and 2013 model years, although the actual dates of production aren't available. 18,700 are in the US, while 825 are in Canada, 530 are in Mexico and a further 5,200 outside of North America.
According to a statement, Chrysler was informed of the issue by a component supplier for the Ready Alert Braking system, which primes the brakes in anticipation of an emergency stop. A component in the system was restricting the flow of brake fluid too much.
As Chrysler is quick to point out, the way the brakes functioned was in compliance with regulations and there are no reported cases of drivers losing braking power. Instead, the issue rests with what Chrysler calls a pedal feel that "was not consistent with customer expectations." So it would seem Chrysler is being proactive and fixing a problem not because there's a legal issue at work, but simply because it doesn't feel the way the manufacturer wants it to. Well done.
