This is a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500,with a Mer. diesel engine, that we (BAY PORT MTRS. LUXEMBURG, WI.) just purchased and will now sell the same way we sell all our Ebay items, NO-RESERVE. We play no games, high bidder at auctions end , buys it. This is a long wheel base , high top cargo van. It has 336,489 mi. Still runs and goes down the road great.Rear cargo opening is 71" high and 62" wide.Cargo floor is 14ft. long and 68" wide. In center of wheel wells is 50".G.V.W.R. is 8,550 lbs. On the outside all glass is good. Paint is o.k. but not great. Numerous paint scabs and chips. The 225/75/16" B.F. Goodrich commercial tires are exellant. On the inside you will find p.w.-p.d.l.- cruise-air and a.m.-f.m. The diesel engine starts and runs great. Trans. shifts just as it should. The only mech. issue I can tell you is on my way home the check engine lite came on but I put around 200 mi. on it and no problems at all . Must be a sensor getting weak. Put the cruise on 70 and no shakes, misses or any other problems to tell you. Would take it any where. Comes with a clean Wi. title.

If you are in the market for a low mi. mint shape Sprinter, This aint it, but if you are looking for a good dependable work vehichle with out breaking the bank it's perfect.

If you have any questions at all please call me, John 920 713-4700 and I will be as honest and helpful as I can be. If no answer you can call my wife Melissa 920 562-3029 and she can always find me.

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.

Hero gets his truck back better than new thanks to community support [w/video]

Sun, 29 Jun 2014

You ever hear a story and start cringing before you hear the end because you know how it's going to turn out? That could very well have been the case with the story from a few weeks ago in West Valley City, Utah, where a 14-year-old kid stole his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster and took it for a joyride - through a park full of children. But instead it turned into a heart-warming tale of heroism and a community banding together to do what's right... and then some.
Bryson Rowley was that hero who identified the danger and, rather than sit idly by and watch the joyrider potentially run over a child, got into his truck and drove it into the menacing runaway hatchback. The collision caused some $7,500 to his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, but instead of getting stuck with the bill - one which his insurance may very well have refused to pay since the crash was, technically speaking, intentional - his community pitched in a helping hand.
Bryan Ellison, who owns West Valley Carstar with his brother, saw the news on television and wanted to help. So he brought Rowley a rental car, picked up his truck and brought it back to his auto repair shop. People from around the community donated parts, and when all was said and done, some $15,000 of work and upgrades were performed on the Ram that was returned to an overwhelmed Bryson Rowley better than new. Watch the video below for the full story.
